    Really like the hook. You mentioned that you would like to have a guillotine tool. Roy from Christ Centered Ironworks sells a guillotine kit that is quite good. I purchased one and I'm very pleased with it.

    I really like the design of this hook. I've seen others that require a forge-weld on the shackle and my forge just doesn't quite get hot enough to reliably forge weld. I'm definitely going to give something like this a try in my shop on a smaller scale, I have a bunch of 3/4ths inch coil spring that I could resize and still get a reasonably beefy hook out of.
