Wow, superb! I'm amazed and exited by seeing this. Scared too. Although there are a lot's of familiar movements from the slow form there are also a lots of different and completely new ones. And this form is quite long too! Wow. I'm afraid I have to beg my teacher for teaching it to me (she's a Tudi of Ma Jiangbao, she knows the form). Oh my, so much more to learn... Thank you very much for uploading this! :)
mate, very very good - this is an most excellent example of the fast form - where did you learn this? i am learning wu fast form from david barrow in sheffield
This is the Fast Form conceived by Grandmaster Ma Yueh-liang of the Shanghai lineage, based on his own insights of the Taijiquan principle, particularly Fa-Jing (explosive emission of inner power), jumps and jerks, and other advanced notions. In many ways, it has gone far beyond the Fast Form by Grandmaster Eddie Wu of the Hongkong lineage, which has been made easier for health exercise by the general public, and has been inherited through many generations of Wu-family grandmasters: ruclips.net/video/ub9LYytAZ5g/видео.html As such, both Wu-style Fast Forms are equally authentic and well respected.
That one of Eddie Wu is really just the slow, square form done at a slightly faster speed. It isn't the authentic Wu family fast form at all. The one that Ma Yueh Liang performs here, and taught, was not conceived by him, but is what he was taught by Wu Jianquan (springthunder.com/2017/09/02/a-conversation-with-the-great-ma-yueh-liang/)
Excellence.
柔、綿、流暢自在、輕鬆自然、老外真勁!
I learnt this not far away from you, in Huddersfield! from Jin Ye, granddaughter of Ma Yueliang and Wu Yinghua.
Cool... Nice Fast form. Who is your teacher? I like it !

@@JosephCLawrence so glad someone said it. MA Family politics are stupid.
your form looks good but there is some stiffness in places that should be more flowing and more fa jin. But over all good keep up the good work...
the fast form has to be practice with solid basic to make it works
Too mechanical.
違和感を感じる。呉式太極拳を装ったバレエに見える。上半身の動きはお見事というべきなのだ。しかし何故か違和感を感じる
