Led by the Spirit: Life, Guidance, and Power

The Spirit of God that hovered over the waters at creation, continues to lead, restore, and empower His children. As we are led by the Spirit, we become true sons and daughters of God, revealing His glory to the world. May the Spirit dwell within us, guiding us along right paths, bringing peace, and empowering us to fulfill our purpose in His kingdom.

Ruah: The Breath of God
...And the Spirit of God (ruah) was hovering over the face of the waters. (Genesis 1:2 ESV)

For the eagerly awaiting creation waits for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God. (Romans 8:19 NASB20)
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.” (John 14:15-17 ESV)
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” (John 20:21-22 ESV)
The Breath of God will:
Lead.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. (Psalm 23: 1-3 ESV)
Still Waters:
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in You. (Isaiah 26:3 ESV)
Right Paths:
And don’t let us yield to temptation but rescue us from the evil one. (Matthew 6:13 NLT)
Restore
Empower
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8 ESV)
I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.” (Luke 24:49 NIV)
When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
