- A look into our new HAAS Lathe. This machine has been running non stop, making spacers, tie rods, bushings and much more. Dylan has been getting caught up on the machine and knowing the ins and outs of it!
Let us know if you want to see a start to finish of a product on the lathe!

I have just one small investment idea for yall. Cincinnati Superior collet pads. You will need to get the angled masters for the pads, but what it does is save you money and time. Being that your running smaller stuff you can swap pads out very quickly and save on your set up time. They make a ton of different sizes. The other benefit is that you can stack drills, taps and some id tools at tool stations that are next to each other and they will clear your chuck. That's a nice thing with Haas that I've learned. Anyways just something to look into and see if it's worthwhile for your applications. Keep up the work! I enjoy seeing manufacturing coming back.
Isn’t that Manufacturing we’re always be Upper and Superb in usa?
That lathe looks sick. Thats awesome that you guys can keep more production in house
I'm waiting for our st30y with live tooling and sub spindle..... that css whine man gives me goosebumps lol. That lathe you guys got is perfect for what you need. I love haas, might not be the best machine but programing and setups are a breeze. Good video guys👍
Very nice! We are hoping to add a sub spindle machine in the near future too. We've been really impressed with the new gen Haas stuff, definitely a lot more intuitive than the older machines.
🔥 so awesome to see you guys making almost everything for FDF products. The S2000 needs to go for a drift 👍
Nice lathe. I just bought the same machine and waiting on delivery. I had a hard time putting it where I wanted because of the conveyer needing 5' of clearance to remove it. I noticed you conveyer is against the wall. That won't be much fun to get out if you need to. Nice looking parts, Keep rocking on!
You're right, we are very space limited and have plans on moving the CNC machines into our new shop expansion asap, so we are just counting on luck currently lol. Enjoy the new machine!
@@fdfcnc5967 After having to clean the sump, I learned real quick, slide the conveyor out (pallet jack, floor jack or hoist) and you have full access to 90% of it clean it all. There are a couple nooks toward the back by the pump but wet vac and extension gets it. With the conveyor in there, forget it, no access anywhere.
Very cool! Thanks for sharing!
Nice lathe. The 30L I work on is a little weird, but i like it. G and M code is fairly simple to learn. I would personally turn safe run on.
I wish I could afford your kit for my drift build. It’s close to road ready but next is more angle!
It's worth every penny.
@@wirekat 100% everyone who uses or swapped from other kits say how much better it drives.
Need a mill turn.
Need any cnc operators/cad designers?👀
