As I’m listening to this beautiful overture from England 🏴 The Hebrides Overture is one of my all time favourites pieces. The orchestra play it to perfection with the helping hand of Conductor Andres Orozco-Estrada. What a wonderful way to spend time listening to great music played by fantastic musicians. Thank You Very Much for a lovely performance. Fabulous!!! … is all I can say. And Good Night. !!!

One of best performances of this extraordinary overture. It's Mendelssohn's true masterpiece in terms of melodic and harmonic invention and orchestration. Sonata form is treated in a specific, romantic sort of way, where the main themes are developed like leitmotives. That's why this music is so rich, tense, just superb! Bravo orchestra and Mr. Orozco-Estrada!

AOE is incredible. Being Hispanic makes me proud to know a Latino classical musician like he exists. His Mendelssohn is superb [Mendelssohn is one of my favorite composers, so I keep track of AOE performances of his music].
