Appreciate all the info you give on your channel Micky! is there any differences between the very first Dumont I think it was 2017? Compared to the current Dumont in 2022 I can't find any other years for them? Anyway I thought about looking at one that's for sale 2017 basically brand-new judging by pictures and owners description I wondered if $3000 is a fair asking price? Thx again.✌️(No motor)
Got my dumont with eAssist a year ago and love it! My only two complaints are (I am a female with not terrific hand strength) if I remove the battery I have only once been able to get it back in place. It takes my husband awhile too. I’m beginning to think I have a faulty battery cage or something. I’ve seen videos that show people locking that in easily but not been my experience. So I leave mine on and power it to the wall for now. The second is adding eAssist added weight and I can no longer lift it into my SUV or even on the bike rack without assistance. Luckily I live between two trails which are very long so I’m able to ride! Love the bike though. So easy to use and it’s good on pavement and dirt or gravel trails
i have had my stowaway recumbant through trident trikes and a dealer through wildfire hpv, for over 4 years now no suspension did a few upgades front and rear tires spent 1800 for the original added the 2.4 inch tires on front and 26" on the rear that cost me 350 was and if i could sell it to bring the price down on the dumont. wondering about upgrading to the dumont for the suspension now i am 250 lbs what is the max lbs that it can have and should i get the e-trike?

Do you do custom work, I need bafang 750 watt in a dumont, we have a lot of grades where I live.

The rider weight limit is 275 lbs. For most people nowadays, an e-trike is the way to go.
Will the ecat Dumont take curbs with the stock tires?
It depends on the curbs. I try not to go off a hard edge curb.

can you fit an shimano ep8 on a catrike 559 or trail, the bosch as a 50Nm as oppose to 85Nm for the shimano
You cannot, however torque should not be the main consideration, rather the feel of the ride.

Depends on the tire -- take a look at the sidewall of the tire for the correct PSI.

You should do a real world test , not riding around a parking lot. Show people what it will do and how it performs on the road...
