Please add surcharge also. Before surchage is 10% and after 23/7 the surcharge is 15%. After 23/7 the surcharge also goes us as the capital gain is more.

Sir, I've received a land property in Kolkata from my ancestors.
I went for a joint venture project with a local developer under 47:53 % ratio in the said land.
In return I got 4 residential flats out of which I will sell 2 flats.

Sir agar mein urban agricultural land sale karke ,rural agriculture land le loon to mujhe 3year ka lockin period follow nahin karna padega aur mein usko sale kar sakta hoon, ye mere friend ne advice di hai. Kaya ye theek hai? Vo kehta hai rural agriculture land ki sale transfer ki defination mein nahin aati capital gain mein

I purchased a flat from govt on monthly installment basis in 2010. But got the conveyance deed done in 2024 although i paid installments for 10 years upto 2020.
Now i want to sell.the flat. Pl advise about capital gain tax.
Actual price of flat was 1150000. I paid 1650000 total amount.
What date is considered the date of purchase in this case. 2010 or 2024?

My father inherited some land in 1986 from my Grandfather after his death.
I inherited the land from my father in 2020 after my Father's death.
So if I sell the land in 2024 will the 2001 FMV be applicable to me.
Some websites are mentioning that 2001 FMV is applicable on land inherited before 2001.
Kindly clarify?
