Misses some of the Absolute best. Ezio Flagello high A in Lucrezia Borgia, Giorgio Tozzi high A (G?) In Pagliacci, Adamo Didur high A in elisir d'amore and ANTONIO SALVADORI gigantic high Bb in Attila.

@@boundary2580 imo if bryn are to do the role, they should transpose parts of the score, like they did for Timothy Nolen, another operatic bass baritone who did the phantom
this is fun but most of these are required notes that most baritones have. I know several baritones with fairly easy high Cs. But they "flip" into it. Managing a tenor tessitura would be a difficult and maybe injurious enterprise
Which aria? Baritones often touch on extreme high notes, like B and C. WARREN in Rigoletto hits a C crying "Gildaaaaa", Milnes in the ATTILA cabaletta and many in the Figaro aria, during a florid run and usually just touched on it. It's all about tessitura. Some Wagner tenor roles dont go above A, but the tessitura is murder- all around E,F,G, and A. Throat killer.

Magnifico Ramey!

Bryn terfel should do the role of phantom in phantom of the opera
I don’t think he can do it any more. He’s getting on in age.

@@phantomphan873 yes but Bryn can barely do a G sometimes. I’m sure he could crush it back in his prime but now he’s switching to lower roles.

Are we serious? This list doesn’t have legend like Bastianini but has ... J.Shore?? LOL...just LOL!
Joseph Shore is a Great Baritone too
il manque le plus grand de tous : Ettore Bastianini !
Oh Warren Moulton is a tenor and John is the baritone.
Some truly unlistenable performances here. On the other hand, MacNeil, Ramey, and Diaz are phenomenal
And then the notes from some greats, like MacNeil and Cappuccilli, are far from their best. Very odd selection indeed
Could you do a famous tenor high notes in opera video?

Jef Olson “flip”? What does that mean?

@The Sacred E it's an ok pop/christian voice, but since its not opera, his high Cs dont count. ( in this discussion anyway).
Where's Warren and Granforte? This list sucks!
Joseph sang the high B in a Verdi baritone but that is a Dramatic tenor aria.

Some ugly notes here. Just because you can "hit" a note doesnt mean you should beat the shit out of it! If it isnt beautiful, dont sing it!
