    I'm surprised by how relatable I found this video! My mom also discourages placing many pairs of shoes by the door as she says it brings in bad luck- supposedly shoes are worn outside so apparently superstition goes that negative vibes can tag itself onto your shoes and when you leave them by the door instead of putting them back into the storeroom I'm releasing the bad luck into the house.. And while I'm lucky enough to not have a parent who scrutinizes my grades I know most Southeast Asian parents to hold good grades in high regard! Keep up all the good work!
    I'm surprised at how much Russia has in common with my own country and geographic region, hope to visit Russia for some time in future!!

    "You just wissle all of your luck" "The more you laugh, the more you'll cry" "all your friends will left you behind when you need help, but there will be always you family..."

    On grades: In Russia, cheating is not only common it is socially expected. You are expected to cheat. In the US, students wish each other luck. In Japan, they wish each other diligence. In Russia, they wish each other success.
    In Russia, as long as you win/get best grade, it doesn't matter how you did it.

    Wow you are spot on when you talk about Russian sandwiches. I lived there for 7 months and it is the only place I have ever had sandwiches with only one piece of bread! No butter or margarine either. I used to fold them in half before I ate them.
    I love Russia and miss it.
    Your videos are great! Give us more!

    The "sandwich has only one slice of bread" is so relatable as a Romanian. At first i thought that's how sandwiches were made

    My mommy saved my life. When the "fallen" were going to break my neck, I heard endearing and true words, no slurs. It was like, "WTF, no way!" I was able to get away. I still love her. She's my mommy.

    I have one for you, from an American girl raised Catholic! When I was about in 4th grade & I saw one kid give another kid "the finger": I went home & ask my Mom "hey Mom (showing her "the finger") what does this mean? She says: the 2 bent fingers on either side are representing the legs, the long finger in the middle is... the doo-doo! (AKA ka-ka) :●{
    My response: how repuslive, disgusting, vulgar; I'll never make that sign! Mother, with much satisfaction, smiled!
    I believed that explanation untill high school... Thanks Mom. Auuugh!

    It's not funny! In Russia, are not parents, I myself live there, and I know that parents aren't as, we have with the kids don't treated like with you, apparently! The children in Russia, Academician isn't just get the tea, but also something else! Well, if anything, in Russia, Academician as you told me about the children taken care of and excited about them, I don't have that kind of stupid and parents like you showed it!

    • @ZaharPanda

      Очень хорошо что твои родители были ласковые и не такие как в видео. Но это всё шутки потому что очень много из нас которые выросли с/ пережили через это, это просто правда для всех нас который были/ имеют такие родители. Это просто насмешка.. 100% в стиле русского юмора!
