Vielen Dank, Martin! Ja, die Lansen kann man schon als Oldtimer bezeichnen. Immerhin war der Erstflug bereits 1952. Es gibt auch nur noch 3-4 flugfähige, die bei der SwAFHF beheimatet sind. Kaum zu glauben dass das Flugzeug noch bis 1997 bei den Schweden zum Einsatz kam. Schöne Grüße nach Bayern! :)
Olli - You did very well there. Some of those angles, especially directly over you, are particularly challenging to film well. From the shot at the start I'm guessing that you were not on the airfield and filming from outside the fence as otherwise the pilot wouldn't have been allowed to fly over you. A very rare and unusual aircraft, reminiscent of a cross between an American Super Sabre and a British Hawker Hunter from the same era maybe?😊
Thank you Steve, and sorry for late reply. ;) Yes, I was filming outside the offical public area, where you have not good view to the flying displays (they are too far away from the crowd line). There is a agriculture nearby the airport, but the area where you can still stand is getting smaller from year to year. Meanwhile half of the field is closed to spectators for safety reasons. You're right, the Lansen looks similar to the Super Sabre and Hawker Hunter. But for me, the front also looks like a P-80 Shooting Star. Greetings, Olli 😊👋
