I am a knitter and charity knit most of all. Right now I'm making little lovey blankets that are just over 13" square. I love the Cinnamon Swirl yarn. Nice and bright colors for little ones. Now it looks like I need to try Blossoms. Thank you!💖
Hi Julie. So wonderful what you do. Every time I see the Cinnamon Swirls, I'm tempted! Hope you like the Blossom Cakes if you try them. I think especially good for blankets.
Yarn cakes are very very pretty,,,your project will be beautiful… I am not buying any warm at all , using what have , I can’t do as much work as used to,, arm in sling now just realized to keep it close and a visual reminder to not use for lifting etc… trying to let it all settle down and let inflammation move… the pain has finally settled down.. have fun with new yarn and can’t wait to see new project t…..❤️🌻
G’Mornin’. I’m on a stash-busting mission this year, with only a few exceptions. Starting off early! 😅 Your arm sounds painful and can only move and do so much in a sling. Glad you’re taking care of your body first and able to crochet and craft, even if it’s slower and not as much. I hope and pray full function will return, and you’re feeling better everyday. 💕💕💕

I am so happy I found your video. I got some Caron Blossom cakes but haven’t found a tutorial for this beautiful yarn. Will be waiting for your tutorial . When are u posting it or where can I buy it.
So wonderful to know, thank you!! 💗 I'm not exactly sure when I'll do the tutorial; but it's in my plan, and I have 2 projects in mind now! I had to go back to hand therapy, post-op from Dec. It's taking up a lot of time, and I'm not crocheting quite as much yet. But for now, I did start my Dew Drop Baktus Scarf pattern in this yarn, for a gift in the Fall; and loving how it's working up! I'll probably pop on this weekend with a channel update and show my work in progress. I really appreciate your patience with me! Sometimes can take me a bit getting to things. Life! Oh...and my written patterns are in my Etsy shop, with the link in the drop-down description section, of every video. Including the Dew Drop Scarf. 😃
Hi Helene, I have really enjoyed spending some time with you today, I really love the yarns (Caron Blossom Cakes) all looking very beautiful and pretty. I keep saying I will teach myself to knit soon! I got some knitting hooks, and can not wait to begin. I am excited. Now praying for some extra time to do nothing but crochet and learn to knit LOL. I did pick up the denim color yesterday, to make my winter baseball cap hat, as we slowly approach Spring. Since this yarn is a nice cotton/acrylic blend, I think will be a good in-between seasons weight and work well for that pattern. Only one way to find out! Happy Friday and weekend to you, too! Very exciting you're dipping your toes into the knit pond!
I will hopefully be able to get some with me not working yet because of having breast cancer this past year its really making me sad that I just can't order some to try ...maybe soon I'm not released to go back yet to work its just rough but thanks for sharing love them all 💞💗

Hi Helene, the Blossom yarn is beautiful, so many lovely colors. I like the big basket of Blossoms, it's so pretty. My favorite is the colorway Blossoms, it reminds me of the periwinkles that grew wild in the woods across from my childhood home. I can still see swelling in your hand, I hope you soon get full use of it. Thank you for the great review, take care!
Hi! What a wonderful memory for you, Periwinkles growing wild in the woods. I was tempted to get enough for a sweater, but thought better of it, to finish what I’ve started first! My hand doctor the other day was very pleased with how it’s healing, and thought it looked great, even though still inflamed. Can take a few months to bend normally again. I keep working at it! I hope your hand is completely healed by now. 🙌

@@cabinfevercrochet We're all guilty of "misbehaving" when it comes to us yarnies, lol. Sometimes you just have to because these yarns seem to disappear and be discontinued faster than ever these days! One of my "tricks" is to go to the Ice Yarns site and check to see if they have a similar yarn to one I'm obsessing about at any given moment. A lot of times I will find the exact same yarn under a different name. Just recently I fell in love with Big Twist Reverb that's only offered at Joann's but noticed that it's slowly disappearing. But I found it at Ice.(called Cakes Ica) and scooped more up. It's the exact same and is in their closeout section so it probably will be gone from Joann's also very soon. Or I've even found yarns at Herrshner's. Kristin Omdahl used to have a yarn which is the Soho Playful at Herrshnerr's. It was a lot cheaper there. They still offer it. Same exact colorways as hers.
@@itscrochetday1444 Guilty as charged, LOL! As we speak, I'm STILL thinking about more of that Caribbean Sea color for a garment. It's even prettier and more vibrant in person! Very interesting re. the ICE Yarns. I've seen that happen...duplicates with different labels and price points at various places. Nice you found the JoAnn yarn at ICE before it's gone!
I have made a poncho in the herringbone stitch using a 6mm hook{yacht club colour way} and am in the middle of making a shawl/vest using an 8 mm hook { macaw colour way}
How fun! I was thinking of a vest, too. Love the macaw color; but one of the few I didn’t get…yet!! 😅

I want to use this yarn in a sunburst blanket but concerned that it starts a little fuzzy right out of the skein. How has it held up for you over time in regard to pilling and shedding?
Hi. I've made 2 of my Dew Drop Baktus Scarves with it so far, which I gave as gifts. I don't know how much use they've gotten; but both have said how much they love it. I'd originally made a hat, and took it apart to use the yarn for one of the scarves. I gave the yarn a pretty good workout while doing so, and didn't have any issue with pilling, shedding or fraying. Other than that I can't attest to the longevity of blanket wear yet. Hope that helps. 💗
