In terms of people solo maining him in tournaments, I guess it's really only Juicy Joe. DCQ and Lord Venom are basically Bison players now. When Bison gets nerfed, they'll come back home
After doing a RUclips search on Zangief Tournament wins 2024 after the May release of Akuma, I found out he won 5 tournaments but I know Akuma won only 4 (including the recent Singapore one).

After watching many tournaments, I can conclude that being good at parry is not very important for SF6, other aspects are just way more important to win than parry.

It’s fireball invincible after the starting frames. But never strike invincible. Spacing was just for reaction.
moves like psycho crusher, blanka ball, honda headbutt are considered airborne, so you can beat them with air invuln moves

Kakeru was never a JP main he was just a Top tier main.
