Let's be real, we all thought Bloodbath would be the hardest thing ever beaten in GD. Now it's no longer in the Top 150. Same with Bloodlust, which is almost out of the Top 30. Continuing on with Tartarus somehow getting verified by Dolphy, we presumed there would be no way anything harder would ever be beaten. And now Tartarus was almost out of the Top 5, however back to 4th right now. Meaning 3 maybe 4 levels have been verified that are harder than Tartarus in the span of a couple months. Not to mention VSC. So no matter how much we all thing we have hit the skill ceiling, we will most likely never hit it. And at this point, I doubt there even is one!
That's cool and all, but most timings in top 1s are already as small as the player's hitbox, the only way to increase difficulty going forward is by increasing cps and memory, which is already being done
This tends to be a common trope, but every record on silent clubstep is done on Sailent's update to the level which not only fixed bugs, but heavily nerfed the original version. The current version of the level is considered to be a bit lower then that of Abyss of Darkness in difficulty which in itself isn't even considered top 1 anymore with Sakupen Circles being verified. The only version of Silent Clubstep that could be top 1 is the bugfixed version of the unnerfed level, which currently has no large runs done of it with nobody progressing on it.
No level is harder than lost remedies even unverified levels, every jump was frame perfect and took 4 minutes to complete. 20% was completed before it was nerfed.
I personally believe that there will never be a last top 1 demon, as player skill has been increasing over the years, and new top 1 demons are constantly -oversaturated- being made, it’s likely that we will never see a final top 1 demon NOTE: I was excluding the heat death of the universe here guys
I think one day, Adramalech will get verified, and no one will dare challenge it after that. That level literally looks like it was made to be last level.
I think that at a certain point it's humanly impossible to get any more consistent at really precise inputs, so to make an actually verifiable Top 1 creators are gonna stretch out their levels until the actual limits of the editor.
In my personal opinion, Demons that are on the Edge of possibility will be the last top 1's ever, Some examples would be: Dystopia, Misanthrope, Unnerfed Galaxy Collapse, Malediction, Marble Caverns and Silent Clubstar (If it hypothetically gets remade). These levels and more are IMO the limit of human possibility... Until 2.2 arrives, and we see Something like VSC but 10 times harder and longer

In a theoretical situation, given that the playerbase's skill never decreased, due to people leaving community, age etc... we have people who've beaten vsc, which is much closer to the skill cieling than any demon list level, i mean look at ufwm's consistency with challenges at that level, like wtf... so eventually we'd get to a point where length and difficult will slowly merge... so demons around bloodlust's length, but will have the difficulty of vsc... But this excludes any changes to the game such as the swingcopter gamemode which will have different jank mechanics than our current dual ball swig will... which adds more to the skill cieling, and then platformer, which will add even more... since platformer is it's own mess i'll pretend it won't happen: so if changes don't happen, the hardest level would basically be bloodlust length vsc... although again if player base skill never decreases the skill cieling is the top1... but basically once something of vsc bloodlust is made, people couldn't beat it in time before they'd leave community or something else, so progress wouldn't be made... however with things like platformer mode... things become alot more like platformers... on steroids... but will basically be the same thing, just extremely precise movements, making sure to abuse all the jankiness to make it harder... making sure every skill is at vsc level in order to complete... then repeat for whatever the future is... BUT; as new things will be added, things will change, which means new skillsets, and things will be "harder" as they require just as high level of skill as the current skills in the game, but include something more, so will match the difficulty, but include something more to it at the same difficulty. The truely "hardest" level if we accounted for this would be the top one of the era with the longest gap between changes like this (which could be 2.1 as rob said he'd like to have updates be more frequent)... tldr; it will keep same difficulty, but include current updates to add new skills so the newest update will allways contain the "hardest" level.
Here's my theory on why there will probably be a last Top 1: We could come to a point where a current Top 1 is near humanly impossible, but isn't. So, in order to keep making more Top 1s, we'd have to make a top 1 that is just slightly more difficult than the previous. But, if it goes like that, we'll come to a point where the difficulty is no longer humanly possible. Am I wrong? Lemme know what you think!

If there's no final top 1 and Silent Clubstep becomes the hardest level ever verified, then hypothetically there should be a level that's harder than Silent Clubstep, which is crazy to think about.
Silent Circles with nerfs to like 3 spikes brings the cps down to technically 15 per second, but thats if every click is like a 240-720 fps frame perfect lol (Silent Circles also has a secret way at 51% that if done correctly can bring you to the end of the level, meaning UFWM technically has the level in 2 runs if he does the secret way) Also Silent Clubstep being BL x2 is actually underrating quite significantly, Septagon recently did 24-100 and he said it was harder than his hardest, which was Cognition, and 24-100 is also considered by many people to be easier than 0-24, meaning the level is more like a top 15 x2 rather than BL x2. And the scarier part is that Silent Clubstep is still debatably top 1, and there are still tons of upcoming top 1s in the works and in verification that are considered harder, unless you want to talk about Unnerfed Silent Clubstep which is an entirely different beast on its own

The first 25% of Silent Clubstep is anywhere from Tartarus/The Golden difficulty so it’s likely top 10 too 25-100% is anywhere from harder than Bloodlust to harder than Renevant So i’d imagine that at it’s hardest, Silent Clubstep is like doing Tartarus and Renevant in one run back to back
0:58 Yes I know this is a very dumb point to give in a video unrelated to this, but I wanna say it anyway: The "bug" in hexagon force is NOT a bug (obviously), but most people don't know how it works. It is because you hold down the click too much on the bottom, which makes you immediately jump on the top and not make it to the yellow orb. The simplest way to get around the 'bug' is to not hold your clicks after you make them. That way you will easily be able to control when you jump on the top and bottom.
0:58 idk why but my biggest pet peeve when it comes to this game is when people call that hexagon force jump a bug, it really isn't... just click late on the platform at the top and click lightly

What i think: Silent clubstep ( The unnerfed version ) Right now we are on a point where people can be so insanely skilled that they only take a few ten thousands attempts to beat the hardest levels (Trick,Cursed,Space) And then theres also people who are so determined they can spend hundreds of thousands of attempts to beat the hardest levels (Speedmuffin,Polterghast,AedenGD, theres more still) But i think there comes a point where its humanly impossible to get consistent at something, thus you have to be not only insanely skilled, but also VERY determined this is where silent clubstep comes to a play, the FIRST 24% is literally like SWI difficulty while the rest (24-100) is probably like tartarus difficulty, I think no one, and i mean no one can do SWI and then tartarus, but with a million attempts? maybe they will just get that one run where everything goes right. The problem tho is because of how inaccessible silent clubstep is, someone can either go to the 1.9 servers in 360 hz and beat it there, or bugfix but keep it unnerfed and buff some parts to fix the bugfixed parts so its as difficult as the original unnerfed. Which is gonna be a pain, not to mention theres literally 2 versions of the level getting verified so its even a question if its even gonna get rated because it is without a doubt getting verified after the 2 versions are done Eternal night Swiborg will undoubtedly take longer with this than anemesis even if it fits his skillset but i think its difficult enough to be atleast a contender for this spot Orochi This is the most likely to be the hardest as knobel literally intends it to be the way, the only problem i can see is if knobell can pull through, if he struggles with bloodlust how will he be able to do something so hard that its more than 2x harder than bloodlust? Adramalech Judging from pure looks this looks straight up impossible, but again someone can be obsessed with a level much like aeden to azure flare or kugel to death corridor and dedicate their life to this level, but i think this is the most unlikely because i dont think whatever this levels trying to achieve will ever be achieved Azure flare Aeden literally has like 400k attempts on this, its a monster and its still a question to whether this is even humanly possible Death corridor This is the most guaranteed to be verified as i dont think kugel is gonna stop anytime soon, but the question is if it will be the hardest demon when it gets verified, by the time something harder can be verified like any of the levels above, as i think this is the easiest one in these categories of levels It hasnt been created yet No one has created the level that will be the hardest top 1 to grace this game, it would be interesting to see this one and see how it can play out

I personally think Silent Acropolis or unnerfed The Nautical could eventually be verified years from now if the skill ceiling keeps progressing at its current rate
in my opinion, we hit a slope with Abyss Of Darkness (see how nobody has come even close to Dils's progress on it) but we're likely not seeing anything resembling a "final top 1" However, one can argue that most of upcoming top 1 levels will require not only an absurd amount of skill, but also a solid mindset and an outstanding dedication, so things are most likely going to hit a wall whenever top players decide to not waste hundreds of thousands of attempts on a level that is mostly luck-based (see the example with unnerfed Silent Clubstep, Cinci's Innards, Aeden's Azure Flare or KugelBlitz's Death Corridor) levels filled with frame perfects that defy not only how skilled a player can be, but also how dedicated and how strong their will to beat the level is
now that I see both Trick and Cursed getting 95% and both Cursed and SpaceUK agreeing that AoD is easier than Sakupen Circles and therefore top 3, I have to eat my words lol
silent clubstep probably isn't even top 1 worthy tho lol, but the real top 1 is hyper ice jumper, it is a map pack 7 star level that took me longer to beat than some extremes because of a frame perfect caused by a bug at the end of the level
The thing about cursed being the first victor is true, but he grinded for like 6 months or so before beating it so he knew the level and the click patterns pretty well.
Yeah, that is true. Still though, we have so many top players at the moment, with hardly any huge spikes in difficulty, so we usually see them beat it in a few weeks.
A while ago, I tried making the hardest level a human will ever beat. It was just a hyper-nerfed version of the level "EXPONENTclub" with some extra decoration as well. I doubt there is anybody who will go for the level at all, but you really never know. The elements that make the level so hard are its nigh-unbearable timings, extreme waves, confusing gameplay, ship sections, and its decoration. If it were ever to be verified, especially if some one from now tried verifying it, it could potentially be the first level to take 1,000,000 attempts. The level is named "EXPONENTclub My Ver" if anybody wants to try it for themselves.
2050: Slaughterhouse is #345 and sakupen circles is #344 Cataclysm is medium demon #1 is unnerfed silent circles A new drag clickingmouse will be invented clicking 600 cps
Honestly the reason why we get a last top 1 would probably be 1) the world literally ends and everybody dies, therefore making it impossible to make and verify top 1s 2) a famine/natural disaster happens on Earth and nobody just has the time to care about GD anymore or all the skilled players die or go into a state where they shouldn't be playing 3) GD gets shut down for some reason, whether that is if Robtop does something illegal with the game(which is highly unlikely) or for some absurd reason video games get banned/heavily restricted 4) A level verified by an extremely talented player who is much better than everyone else is so hard that if a normal skilled player would to play it it would literally take them a century to complete, therefore making it impossible without dream luck squared on the runs I do see us breaking the 1 million attempts on a top 1 because were getting to the point where completing a level with only 10 frame perfects and hundreds of insane timings is just not impressive anymore and everyone is trying to 1up each other for honor
I think Silent Clubstep can be TOP 1 for a long time, because its a level that has existed from a long time and even with that, no one was ever capable of beating it...
there will always be a harder top 1, only the steps get smaller after every new one. there will just never be such diff jumps like bloodbath had again. but as time goes there will always be a little more to squeeze out of difficulty for a harder lvl, humans are always improving. for example imagine 2.2 top ones
I like to think of the difficulty of geometry dash as a half life of an element, it will never stop rising but levels will stop getting WAY harder then other levels, but instead be barely harder
If there is a Last top 1 extreme demon, can be adramelech, obiously the second preview, I think is the hardest upcoming top1 (or 0 xd) by far, But maybe there is something harder than that

I think it will be the that the gaps between top 1s getting dethroned gets longer each time until people loose interest with beating the new hardest in the game as it would literally take millions of attempts

Honestly this will never happen, especially with the editor length extension, and the infinite editor length layout. Although you are right in this video, it’s just going to get to a point where it’s the hardest level ever possible. Then difficult won’t go to how skill based the level is, but whoever has the longest one of those levels. If people are willing, it will get to a point where we are seeing 30+ min top 1’s
I think an interesting possibility would be a level that doesn't require any skill and just pure luck instead. Something like a 1 in a 10 trillion chance, where if dozens of players of any skill level tried it, some unknown player would eventually verify it, but there wouldn't be many victors, even in more years. Such a level would most likely not get rated though, and almost everyone would be unhappy with something like that having the title of "Hardest Level in GD".
@@arpheusgd6748 The difficulty would come from the fact that the average person probably won't have enough luck to ever beat it. Only a few extremely lucky players would beat it, which would make it a level with only a few victors, and as such a possible top 1. For the average person, it might be easier to beat some of the hardest gameplay humanly possible than hoping for a 1 in 10 trillion chance.

It's possible, but the human limit is also a barrier, maybe if we find some incredible discovery like scroll-clicking but more consistent.

Length is also a factor. In many communities, when the difficulty is maxed out, the levels just get longer and longer

If there's no final top 1 and Silent Clubstep becomes the hardest level ever verified, then hypothetically there should be a level that's harder than Silent Clubstep, which is crazy to think about.
there's hundreds of levels out there that fit that criteria even if you take quality into consideration
Eternal night, azure flare by aeden, aquamarine, and a lot more are upcoming top 1's harder than Silent clubstep

Silent Circles with nerfs to like 3 spikes brings the cps down to technically 15 per second, but thats if every click is like a 240-720 fps frame perfect lol (Silent Circles also has a secret way at 51% that if done correctly can bring you to the end of the level, meaning UFWM technically has the level in 2 runs if he does the secret way)
Also Silent Clubstep being BL x2 is actually underrating quite significantly, Septagon recently did 24-100 and he said it was harder than his hardest, which was Cognition, and 24-100 is also considered by many people to be easier than 0-24, meaning the level is more like a top 15 x2 rather than BL x2. And the scarier part is that Silent Clubstep is still debatably top 1, and there are still tons of upcoming top 1s in the works and in verification that are considered harder, unless you want to talk about Unnerfed Silent Clubstep which is an entirely different beast on its own
I used the Bloodlust analogy because that was the only one I saw, and since Bloodlust is way more known. Also, for the mini wave part, I was talking about the unnerfed version. I can link the 32 CPS video if you want!

Silent clubstep isn't really debatable for being top 1. It's much harder than sakupen circles from what I've heard.

The first 25% of Silent Clubstep is anywhere from Tartarus/The Golden difficulty so it’s likely top 10 too
25-100% is anywhere from harder than Bloodlust to harder than Renevant
So i’d imagine that at it’s hardest, Silent Clubstep is like doing Tartarus and Renevant in one run back to back

The "bug" in hexagon force is NOT a bug (obviously), but most people don't know how it works. It is because you hold down the click too much on the bottom, which makes you immediately jump on the top and not make it to the yellow orb. The simplest way to get around the 'bug' is to not hold your clicks after you make them. That way you will easily be able to control when you jump on the top and bottom.

There is no such thing as the LAST top 1 newer and harder levels keep coming out unless... everyone forgets about the game than no new levels will be out so at the time that one level might be the last top 1 but i find that hard to belive

I’d say the last top 1 would be based off of whatever is the last when the game starts heavily dying. I’d say it would be something a bit harder than unnerfed Silent Clubstep. Also I wouldn’t say that the last top 1 would be “near humanly impossible” because nothing is nearly humanly impossible, it’s just the amount of grind you put in.

What i think:
Silent clubstep ( The unnerfed version )
Right now we are on a point where people can be so insanely skilled that they only take a few ten thousands attempts to beat the hardest levels
(Trick,Cursed,Space)
And then theres also people who are so determined they can spend hundreds of thousands of attempts to beat the hardest levels
(Speedmuffin,Polterghast,AedenGD, theres more still)
But i think there comes a point where its humanly impossible to get consistent at something, thus you have to be not only insanely skilled, but also VERY determined
this is where silent clubstep comes to a play, the FIRST 24% is literally like SWI difficulty while the rest (24-100) is probably like tartarus difficulty, I think no one, and i mean no one can do SWI and then tartarus, but with a million attempts? maybe they will just get that one run where everything goes right. The problem tho is because of how inaccessible silent clubstep is, someone can either go to the 1.9 servers in 360 hz and beat it there, or bugfix but keep it unnerfed and buff some parts to fix the bugfixed parts so its as difficult as the original unnerfed. Which is gonna be a pain, not to mention theres literally 2 versions of the level getting verified so its even a question if its even gonna get rated because it is without a doubt getting verified after the 2 versions are done

Judging from pure looks this looks straight up impossible, but again someone can be obsessed with a level much like aeden to azure flare or kugel to death corridor and dedicate their life to this level, but i think this is the most unlikely because i dont think whatever this levels trying to achieve will ever be achieved

Aeden literally has like 400k attempts on this, its a monster and its still a question to whether this is even humanly possible

This is the most guaranteed to be verified as i dont think kugel is gonna stop anytime soon, but the question is if it will be the hardest demon when it gets verified, by the time something harder can be verified like any of the levels above, as i think this is the easiest one in these categories of levels

it would’ve been good to look at other similar games to GD that have reached their skill ceilings and draw comparisons from those.
I personally think Silent Acropolis or unnerfed The Nautical could eventually be verified years from now if the skill ceiling keeps progressing at its current rate
in my opinion, we hit a slope with Abyss Of Darkness (see how nobody has come even close to Dils's progress on it) but we're likely not seeing anything resembling a "final top 1"
However, one can argue that most of upcoming top 1 levels will require not only an absurd amount of skill, but also a solid mindset and an outstanding dedication, so things are most likely going to hit a wall whenever top players decide to not waste hundreds of thousands of attempts on a level that is mostly luck-based (see the example with unnerfed Silent Clubstep, Cinci's Innards, Aeden's Azure Flare or KugelBlitz's Death Corridor) levels filled with frame perfects that defy not only how skilled a player can be, but also how dedicated and how strong their will to beat the level is
now that I see both Trick and Cursed getting 95% and both Cursed and SpaceUK agreeing that AoD is easier than Sakupen Circles and therefore top 3, I have to eat my words lol

silent clubstep probably isn't even top 1 worthy tho lol, but the real top 1 is hyper ice jumper, it is a map pack 7 star level that took me longer to beat than some extremes because of a frame perfect caused by a bug at the end of the level

The thing about cursed being the first victor is true, but he grinded for like 6 months or so before beating it so he knew the level and the click patterns pretty well.
Yeah, that is true. Still though, we have so many top players at the moment, with hardly any huge spikes in difficulty, so we usually see them beat it in a few weeks.

A while ago, I tried making the hardest level a human will ever beat. It was just a hyper-nerfed version of the level "EXPONENTclub" with some extra decoration as well. I doubt there is anybody who will go for the level at all, but you really never know.
The elements that make the level so hard are its nigh-unbearable timings, extreme waves, confusing gameplay, ship sections, and its decoration. If it were ever to be verified, especially if some one from now tried verifying it, it could potentially be the first level to take 1,000,000 attempts.
The level is named "EXPONENTclub My Ver" if anybody wants to try it for themselves.

Honestly the reason why we get a last top 1 would probably be
1) the world literally ends and everybody dies, therefore making it impossible to make and verify top 1s
2) a famine/natural disaster happens on Earth and nobody just has the time to care about GD anymore or all the skilled players die or go into a state where they shouldn't be playing
3) GD gets shut down for some reason, whether that is if Robtop does something illegal with the game(which is highly unlikely) or for some absurd reason video games get banned/heavily restricted
4) A level verified by an extremely talented player who is much better than everyone else is so hard that if a normal skilled player would to play it it would literally take them a century to complete, therefore making it impossible without dream luck squared on the runs
I do see us breaking the 1 million attempts on a top 1 because were getting to the point where completing a level with only 10 frame perfects and hundreds of insane timings is just not impressive anymore and everyone is trying to 1up each other for honor

there will always be a harder top 1, only the steps get smaller after every new one. there will just never be such diff jumps like bloodbath had again. but as time goes there will always be a little more to squeeze out of difficulty for a harder lvl, humans are always improving. for example imagine 2.2 top ones

I like to think of the difficulty of geometry dash as a half life of an element, it will never stop rising but levels will stop getting WAY harder then other levels, but instead be barely harder

Silent Circles or Ballistic Wistfully may very well be beaten. In the year 2122, when humans get robotic transplants and may reach 100's of cps.
ballistic wistfully will never be beaten. Try to do it in practice mode if you don't believe me. I could only make it to 0.3 %with speedhacks. Also you need mega hack to do it.

Honestly this will never happen, especially with the editor length extension, and the infinite editor length layout. Although you are right in this video, it’s just going to get to a point where it’s the hardest level ever possible. Then difficult won’t go to how skill based the level is, but whoever has the longest one of those levels. If people are willing, it will get to a point where we are seeing 30+ min top 1’s
I think an interesting possibility would be a level that doesn't require any skill and just pure luck instead. Something like a 1 in a 10 trillion chance, where if dozens of players of any skill level tried it, some unknown player would eventually verify it, but there wouldn't be many victors, even in more years.
Such a level would most likely not get rated though, and almost everyone would be unhappy with something like that having the title of "Hardest Level in GD".

@@arpheusgd6748 The difficulty would come from the fact that the average person probably won't have enough luck to ever beat it. Only a few extremely lucky players would beat it, which would make it a level with only a few victors, and as such a possible top 1.
For the average person, it might be easier to beat some of the hardest gameplay humanly possible than hoping for a 1 in 10 trillion chance.
