This is what I wondered how did she get a teaching job when everyone is saying teacher to her because without UK teaching qualification she got straight to be a teacher here in UK. Yeah ofcourse teacher assistant can be any one with experience..
You are absolutely correct. You have to have a degree from the uk or from a country that England recognises then have to do a 1 year intense course ( pgce). So therefore Haya is more than likely a teachers assistant. Hats off to her for settling so quickly and getting a decent job!
