This was the "first one I found" when searching RUclips and became immediately hooked to Thai music. I now have my own (electric) phin guitar, made by order in Ubon Ratchathani and know of at least 2 other phin guitar non-thai owners here in Finland.

Yeah not sure where you get the good government idea from. Love the Thai's but the corruption is nuts, and there have been constant coups almost every couple decades. The current government has the military on top of them too as remnant from the last coup. I even had a friend tell me if he ever went back he would be drafted for mandatory service, but he said, "Ah but it should be fine, my mum said shes got a plan to bribe the soldiers, it shouldnt be too hard" lmao

I lived an taught in Thailand for about rangsit university in phathumthani province for about 5 years. Rachanee's father is black and her mom was Thai. Her mom's family lives up north in Loei, Thailand. Passport and visa renewal I went to Vientiane in Laos about 5 times. The capital sits on the Mekong river. You can sign eat and watch the sunset over there. Love Isaan and Thai music. I have Thai friends who still live there. Thanks for posting this on RUclips very much.
