Great video! I learned something new. However, personally, I like to read along with the video, but your current facecam position is obstructing the text on the screen. From the next video, could you please consider moving it to the bottom right corner? Also, I find the content even more engaging without the animation around the facecam. Just a suggestion! Keep up the good work, looking forward to your next video!
8:32 “Data Access Layer” … yeah… we call that the reason why we invented the concept of APIs 🤦🏻♂️. Vercel is re-discovering the MVC (Model View Controller) pattern from the 90s we worked so hard to get away from (Visual Basic, PHP, ASPdotNet etc). Real crazy
At what point do we admit that “apps” running inside a web browser designed for consuming hypertext documents is maybe a mistake ? Native GUI apps have always been a bit complicated to get right … but nowhere near as complicated as the current state of “web apps” Not suggesting there is a black and white answer to this, but you have to admit that it feels like we are still chasing our tails with this problem
Missed these videos from the channel! Not many might know this but codedamn was(or is) one of the OG YT channels for programming!
Thanks, Mehul:)

How else do you get paid $120k per year for front end "system design" 😂
I didn't even know front end system design is a real thing until a week ago.
The closure extraction is real problem in server action that's why we have new Taint api which still in experimental.
13:30 that's why I like drizzle orm. Typesafe and performant queries
We use kysely at codedamn, but have heard good things about drizzle too
@@codedamn try slonik. drizzle ok for a basic todo list but they're still figuring out how to support key postgres features.
@@codedamn have heard of it but never used it.
Just saw their landing page... Seems like somewhat similar syntax.

Can you make a video what authentication codedamn is using
For bedtime 🙌
Literally lying down and chilling with this video. Knowledge + Fun/Entertainment

Express.js over
How and why? 😂
Php is over
Java is over
React is over
Everything is over
