Butcher and Blackbird was excellent (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED the audio book) but it is DARK! Also, there was a scene in that book that has quite possibly put me off ice cream forever (IYKYK) - I gave it 5 stars, enjoy!
As a cookies and cream lover it has not been spoiled for me yet but I fear I’ll never look at it again after this 😭😅

I love Winter Garden! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it. It’s so good. I’m also reading The Reappearance of Rachel Price in May. Two of my friends run the Thrills and Chills book club here on RUclips and it’s their pick for the month of May. I can’t wait to read it.

Winter Garden!!! I just read that one this month & really enjoyed it - definitely cried 😅 but it’s a good one in my opinion!
There hasn’t been a single Kristin Hannah book that is yet to make me cry 😅

I’ve only read the nightingale, four winds, the great alone, home front, and the women so far so defiantly all we’re tear jerkers for me 😭😅

All were great! Nightingale was 6 stars, homefront was 4.75 and the rest were all 5 stars!

@@Angelsbookcorner for sure! I started the book this afternoon and I’m flying through it. Just a heads up though, Daisy’s chapters have footnotes on almost every page 😆

I honestly didn’t love In Five Years so I don’t blame you for avoiding it 🤣 I find I love the synopses of her books, but I just don’t love the writing style
