- Welcome to the Marvelous Statues' UNBOXING & ASSEMBLY of The Venom Premium Format Figure Exclusive by Sideshow Collectibles! Since Venom's pre-order release, Collectors passed on this statue. Although it is a nice piece, the Statue has been overlooked due to poor production photos and the release of XM Studios' Venom.
In fact, the Venom was not on our radar until a friend, Julio Valdez asked us to give it a second look. He sent us his statue to unbox and review. Let me say that we could not be more wrong about this piece. The Venom Premium Format Figure is one marvelous statue. We liked it so much, that we ordered our own. So stay tuned for the review!

This may sound strange, but I almost feel like the smoke and sculpture were wrongly placed on the under-base. One thing that has bothered me about this statue is the asymmetrical placement of the base pieces on the under-base. When looking at the bottom of the base and how the words are printed, it would seem that the front of the statue should be facing a long portion of the octagonal under-base, where the Sideshow symbol is placed on the bottom.
I do see your point. I'm not a huge fan of the smoke. But only because I feel it needed more depth with color. Kinda like the Spider-Man PF almost looks like it is glowing with all the shade. I guess because I never see the bottom of the words, how the base is in relationship to it doesn't bother me as much. But it would make sense to have the lettering dictate the placement. Hey what's up besides the awesome collection you have , I am new to it. Looking at some of your other videos , I hear you mention XM , SIDESHOW ETC. I just wonder how many companies are making the collectibles and if so is there a list of all of them and contacts ? Like I said I'm new to this and would like to start a collection. But they are so many. Maybe a website for all them on line or you have a list ? Really appreciate any help with getting me started on the collection. Thanks bro"
