19:30-21:30 is one of the funniest damn things I've seen in this game 😂 ~350 autos, mostly 18/18/37, plus Manikins ticking and an occasional 2, I'm estimating the dude took somewhere around 9-10k damage and couldn't have given fewer shits lmao.
There's 2 problems. 1) In lane, you can purposefully not box. I went against a Stormseeker in solo lane, and just played safe the whole time. By late game they only had about 100-200 stacks.
2) As everyone points out, it's not efficient and powerful enough to buy the item when you can buy other items that give you more value.
Buying this item in rank should arguably be a reportable offense. I'm diamond and had a adc buy this first item and within 22 minutes he had 10 autos. This item proves how bad these adc players are. 10 autos my guy
So you are trying to say thst in a ranked match, an adc player a role that is mostly abkut auto attacks, in 22 minutes only landed 10 shots.... hard to believe thst

@@ryangreen2493 Lot more believable when you remember that the item only stacks on gods. Only hitting 10 autos on gods is still rather low but not unreasonably so, a fact that further exemplifies how terrible the item is.
The 20:35 - 21:30 mark was PEAK smite. solos just hitting each other while everyone watches. Thats what I call honoring the blade. The most honorable of 1v1s if you will.

Lower stack count from 999 to 100-increase attack speed per stack from 0.15 to 1.0. Gives 100% attack speed at max stacks. Base stats increased

Some ideas to fix Stormseeker: Give it 10% extra CDR, and also *Give it Glyphs.* maybe something like below:

So the above would be like the roundabout return of Golden Bow, and with AOE hits on gods giving attack speed stacks as well, BUT with the catch that you would need to go into an ability focused build to maximize the AOE’s potential. Hydra’s Lament, Bumba’s Hammer, Jotunn's Cunning and more would potentially be useful.

This one would be like a budget mesh of multiple existing relics, while allowing for some decent snowballing, and all in a way that would help get more stacks.

Honestly in casuals, this item still isn't good but man is it kinda satisfying to run it with an attack speed stim and Silverbranch. It's not a *good* item, but play your cards right and it can be a *fun* item. Needs some better stats to pull it in line with other items and make it worth running over other attack speed because of the sheer strength of Qins Sais, Odysseus, etc, but the design is there imo. It has intent, and I think that's great.
At least it's a really functional item in fast paced modes like Arena, where you're constantly fighting and people are constantly healing up so you'll always get someone to box with.
This just strengthens my belief that hirez can't make hunter items lmao

i think with smite 2 on the way and no pro league going on its a great time to try weird and different items. if the items are fun then they can implement them in smite 2

I think the item is bugged on Izanami, not even in a good way. Some of my AAs would not generate stacks.

The only way this item would ever be good is if there was no attack speed cap, its way too easy to hit the stacks don’t even matter. It should stack power or pen or something else
The only way it would be good would be if silverbranch had no cap. Then you could stack more attack speed with it for the power.
Equinox is actually busted on every single god that basic attacks even bruiser Jng like gilga abuse this item.
this is probably the worst item ever tbh. Even if they buffed this item and made it easier to stack, all the enemy laner would have to do is play passive and clear wave from a distance. Its quite literally the worst shit ever. And Kurt has a good point that you can only ever stack this item efficiently if you and the opponent are tanky. Its a cool item in theory, but its garbage

Assuming you can stack it to full it's still bad because you are wasting stats on the other items that synergize with attack speed and 2 valuable passives just to get what is honestly a large amount of stats. If you could have it stacked by 22 minutes it wouldn't be a terrible item. give up early game for late game but as it is right now it is terrible
@The3DancingBananas Silverbranch also has a cap of power. You can build other items that reach cap or close to it.

The gimmick its that it have a ridiculous amount of power that you do 0 dmg to the enemy laner, that way you make them feel safe letting them winning lane while you stack on them with your 60 dmg autos, its actually brilliant desing

Idk how I feel about the item I used it “in casual j for fun and built power pen on my hunter and autos hit for 320 and like 170-190 on tanks . Think I bought exe also but other than that all pen power . Still got 2.5 aa by 20 and really felt like it was powerful
you only need 3-4 items in a hunter build to feel powerful, that item is not one of them.
Why would I buy this over like Atlantis now still a dog shit item but at least it has a better passive imo just not worth it when exe dom qins obow are just the better items
At least atalanta has some niche scenario when the enemy doesnt have tanks in a casual game with that passive and the flat pen
