@@oghenekarooghenebrume534 It doesn't work like that because there are 6 geopolitical regions in naija. It depends on what a region gets for their support to the party. The North East gave the block votes to Buhari that made him president hence the senate president was zoned to them. Your senatorial district in Delta state gave 25% votes to Buhari hence your senator was made the Deputy senator president. He defeated Uzor Kalu in that contest. In 2023, the North west gave Tinubu the highest votes he scored in the country while the NC gave him the third highest votes overall. So one of these two zones will get the senate president. The states in south south that can compete is Akwa Ibom and Edo, because Akpabio stepped down for Tinubu in the primaries, while Oshiomhole delivers 25% for the party. The south east and Delta state voted foolishly, wasting it on Obi.
