Thank you for posting this video. I visited many times during this era. We didn't have a way to film our visits. It's great to see my favorite planes in action as I remember them!
@@chrislauterbach8856 I visited there on July 28, 2019, and I didn't see any of the planes in this video flying around. They still do have flyable vintage planes of course, mostly dating back to WW1 and the 1920s.
@@chrislauterbach8856 July 28th was a Sunday last year, and on that day, the airshow revolved around a skit that had the plot of a silent era comedy. They probably do that show every Sunday. I'm not sure what Saturdays are like there.

Thank you.
I was probably there, been going since 1982 working at the annual model airplane Jamboree every September - thanks for uploading.
You are welcome!
Thanks for getting this classic footage up on RUclips! Hope to see you at the Aerodrome again soon!
Great stuff!!
Great video! I visited in 1982; this bring back a lot of memories.
Very interesting ! Enjoyed watching ! Take care and Merry Christmas from Welland Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Portable home video recording was not very prevalent back then. So this is an video archive with a lot of memory attached.
This is an incredible tape! I first visited in '88. Bravo!
Thank you for your comment.
It seems they have a completely different set of vintage planes now than they had in 1983.
Haven't been back. When Corona is over and shows start again, I hope to return with a much more sophisticated camcorder.

@@dragonpullman23 To my knowledge there were Saturday biplane warbirds and Sunday other biplanes. That was the setup back then.
