The story is good but I prefered how it was in CBT1. Chixia and Yangyang are way to friendly from the very beginning and I felt like the CBT1 made more sense considering the world in which the game takes place. In case you’re curious there’s the full VOD on my twitch!

Crownless is the first enemy encounter in the story right ? So you can go back to the location and fight again.
The fight is smooth !!

Yes, at some point in the story you unlock the possibility to go back on some bosses you fought and you can farm their echoes that way and spend waveplates (stamina) to get resources like character and weapon ascension materials. You can fight them an infinite number of time!
