Commentary is literally the same as it was nearly 15 years ago just updating to fit the year they are in. Commentary can probably be a bit more realistic.
In 2024, the technical advancements we have aren't being demonstrated here. This is increasingly underwhelming for every year that 2K "develops" this game.

Still horrible FOOTPLANTING, lots of SLIDING and SKATING, ball warping with dribbling and overall unrealistic player movement! Shooting off a pick and roll still causes you to fade away! Same boring crowd reactions, atmospheres etc They focus on getting us online to spend money but they put little effort in the BASKETBALL aspect of the game! Yeah, of course 2k will make its sales because it’s the ONLY basketball video game out! 🤣 Newer doesn’t mean better people! Wake up!
@@metapotamus I agree with 2k18 bro. Why? Because 2k18 was the year they implemented this new motion system that we are still experiencing up until this point. 2k16 & 17 had way better player movement, shooting mechanics that made sense and etc than 2k18.
