I’m so glad to see you back! I discovered you shortly before your last video. What a breath of fresh air. Love your aesthetic and could listen to you forever. Not to mention you’re stunning! ❤️
So glad you’re back on RUclips Katey! Would love if you could do a video on your favorite acne spot treatments/masks that are gentle enough for sensitive skin 🥰
So happy for new videos-thank you:) If you have time while quarantined, and need a video idea,I humbly suggest a video for those of us w/sensitive skin/ rosacea (lots of red on cheeks),but who still want to achieve the aesthetic you represent(in my opinion): makeup that is non toxic, some coverage but not caked on,glowy/non-aging look? Hope you are healthy and doing well.
I'm so happy you spoke to everyone's face is different and we all smile differently. That's exactly how I learned where I like to apply blush on my face too! I love this makeup look. It feels ethereal, natural, soft, but bright. The lip color is gorgeous on you. Beautiful! -Maggie
Could you kindly recommend products for warm/ golden toned brown skin? Especially foundation. I have not managed to find a decent one for the last 17 years. I have bought over 20 products from drugstore to high end.
I'm so glad you are back! You are my favorite makeup artist. I'm fair-skinned and redhead just like you (but more auburn). I pretty much know if it looks good on you it will look good on me. My lashes and brows are so fair just like yours. I've noticed you rarely use eyebrow powder/cream/pencil and you also don't put mascara on your bottom lashes. Can you talk more about that? I feel so naked without my eyebrows done and mascara on bottom lashes but I love how it looks on you. I'm also a BIG fan of Vapour even though I'm a Beautycounter consultant.
Lovely look Katey - it really highlighted your amazing Pre-Raphaelite features but is also a look that will suit so many of us too. Your parting words "Back soon" were very welcome words to hear. Parting note - you may be too young - but years ago Ruby and Millie did a specific eye lash curler that curled the outer corners of eye lashes - does such a lash curler exist else where? I found my old Ruby and Millie one when clearing out a drawer! Warmest regards :)
OMG they did??!?!? I remember them, but never saw such a curler, but now I must!! If I can't find an image of it online, would you mind sending me a pic?? I've been working on making one with an industrial designer and mechanical engineer! Now I'm dying to see it! So glad you thought to write. xx
Ohhhh! I just saw an image of it online. Interesting! I did a quick search, but saw lots of negative reviews. There are a couple of other curlers made In a similar style that are for curling small sections like that. I have one in my makeup kit but never use it. I'll dig it out and let you know the brand, which I can't believe I'm forgetting in this moment!
@@kateydenno Yes that would be really interesting to know the brand and what you think of the one in your kit? When I feel up to it I'll dig my Ruby & Millie one out and use it again to remind myself what it was like. I'm guessing if I'd loved it I would remember but since I don't, I probably didn't (!) Up until getting the virus I made a point of putting some make up on even to go out for my day's exercise. It's a nice routine to keep and helps to focus on the 'normal' and zone out from all the stresses at this scary time. Never has make up and grooming been so healing. Hopefully I'll feel up to it in a few days and I'll report back on the eye lash curler :)
Real blushing us impossible on me. I never blush. My skin is pakd yellow with green undertone and thus aby redness is counteracted. I've never blushed even though im so pale
I’m confused; I was under the impression that you were not going to be using filters in your videos... If I can’t see real textures, how am I supposed to make any buying decision? Even your fingernails look blurry. I’m sorry but beauty tutorials with filters have absolutely no sense and this is so obvious that I thought a serious professional, as I expected you to be, would have not fall into this unfortunately widely spread practice
I definitely didn't use a filter. Maybe you aren't watching them at full resolution. Did you check that feature? RUclips often plays at a lower resolution unless you specify HD.
also, just to be clear, I'm not here to SELL products. I'm here to help you learn how to use them. You can visit the websites that sell the products for high res, close up imagery, and you can contact their customer service department for more information during these times when you can't visit stores and try products up close and personal for yourself. As a serious professional, I'm doing the best I can to pivot away from my regular work painting on others' faces during this quarantine, and to bring some fun distraction for viewers. I'm sorry you didn't find this beneficial.
It’s definitely your resolution...mine was low which made her blurry, then when I upped the res, I could see her quite clearly. Aside from that, using a filter does not mean one is unprofessional...what a strange point to get hung up on!

Hooray! I love how informative your videos are...but I also find them oddly soothing :)
