Thank you for making this. I never played MW2 as a kid but I watched a playthrough after playing Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered. I absolutely LOVED the foreshadowing. Shepherd is one of my favorite villains in gaming.
This is the General Shepherd I know. The new Shepherd is lame. I miss the evil, badass, cold and terrifying General Shepherd. And it looks like the General Shepherd here have a lot of experience in combat in the past.
@@nateraintahater4680 That’s what I don’t get. They had the opportunity to make Shepherd even better in the remake and made him worse. I really would’ve loved to see what they could’ve done if they kept him as much of a bad ass as they did in the OGs man. But yeah you’re right it made me appreciate the older games even more.
Can you guys explain to me how an SAS soldier loses to a old man, like bro I get he has combat experience but there’s no way it’s anywhere near SAS like come on he has marine experience but SAS are just as good as the SEALs so how exactly did a old man fight a soldier who is basically a whole navy seal
I just don’t get it man.. They had the opportunity to make an even greater more villainous Shepherd in the remake but instead made him worse. I really would’ve loved to see what they could’ve done if they kept him as much of a bad ass as they did in the OG version man. But it made me appreciate the older games so much more. God I miss the good old days, made me cry watching this. Hands down one of the greatest villains in gaming.
I know some buddies from Afghanistan, most great leaders nowadays don't get acknowledged but when shit pops off, they're there. In the 19-20 deployment there was a perimeter breach and there was a general at the breach getting shot at but standing like a badass while they resecured the breach.
I was finally shown 'Alien vs Predator' recently and noticed that Bishop sounded like Shepherd . So I found this video to verify. Then checked wiki to confirm. Similar to what happened when I heard Kiefer Sutherland and noticed he sounded like Roebuck. CoD always make sure to get the right voices.
That fight at the end always impressed me, because Shepherd was beating the crap out of two very hardened British special forces soldiers. Price and Soap are both surprisingly tough sobs and they got handled like children by a US General. OG General Shepherd was a freakin' badass!
The real life version of this individual is dangerous, but not as dangerous or powerful as you might think. That Russian Prigozhin is a lot like Shepard, he didn't last long. These military people, no matter the rank, are all low level thugs who do as their told. The rulers of the world literally look at these people as their attack dog
Atleast you got to admit Shepherd wasn’t a coward. When something dirty had to be done he did it personally.
He beat Price to a pulp and nearly killed Soap after surviving a helipocter crash, he's a monster.

I agree, they did shepherd dirty in the new games, which makes me appreciate the original even more.

Real, not even makarov could take down price, but shepherd is just that one hard enemy

The More Things Change The More They Stay The Same
A General in frontline combat? That hasn't been done since Washington has it?
It happened in WWII korea and im sure vietnam
General Patton did but not sure who after
Thats why OG Shepard is and always will be the King of Villains. Not this new poundshop version

Napoleon was a big one you missed

This OG Shepard would definitely wipe the floor on both the Reboot Shepard and Makarov
General shepherd in original mw2: I can fight these two youngsters with a blink of an eye
General shepherd in New MW3: Ow my back
Always loved his Napoleonic demeanor.

Wanted pvt Alan for a "special mission"..
General Sheperd is my favorite a pure badass

J Jonah Jameson and Omni Man actually same voice actor@@sovietelmo3000
Guy's do you know that general shepherd skull is still there in Mordern warfare III 9:42
This is soo Underrated, Only 45 Likes, like whaa
Imagine the real life version of this individual.
That is the true message of Modern Warfare 2. 😔👇💔🍻

I swear whenever I see shepherd whip his revolver cylinder in it makes me cringe so hard, might as well just break it on a rock.
ok?
Tf, it's badass bro
@@Theboredgod it breaks the crane on the cylinder, slap it in one too many times and the revolver blows up in your hand due to misalignment.
@@DJH3006He doesn’t give af about that he’s shepherd.
@DJH3006 Dude it's fiction, relax.
