I did a lot of stone mining between episodes so I could have plenty more brick to continue the walkway I started working on in the last episode, and I think it came out amazing! I think your idea to put glass in the roofed sections between the vaulted gazebos could be nice! Once you have more glass you’ll be able to test the look of it.
I fully support the plan for towers at the drawbridges. It’ll really enhance that “Medieval Mansion” look that the base has.
Hopefully the wood is enough to begin the Double U-Turn Driveway you have planned on the lower level. Loving the progress! Keep it up!

The recessed light slightly lights up gazebo structure. It looks good when you get light but no source. I prefer the recessed light. Also I think it looked slightly better with the one thick arches on top, because it matches the lower arches thickness

You should give hank a floor to keep him from being uncomfortable. Also, when greenies keep attacking the blocky ramps you should put some tier 3 metal on the edges to make them walk up them.
They can’t break anything with 6 or more durability. Metal 2 or concrete 2 work just as well. Explosives, like the bosses when they die, can break up to 7 durability, and a charging boss can probably break anything but I haven’t tested or heard anyone say they’ve tested warehouse keys or big batteries.

People who don’t like the way he changed the base, people who don’t like that he did a bunch of stuff off camera, people who wanted a Video on something different, there are many reasons.
Actually, they’re bots that make sure the video doesn’t get too popular too quickly. It’s stupid I know.
I think making a spiral staircase in the corner would be a better way to get up there. It could also lead up to a gaurd tower if we are going for a castle theme. The gaurd tower could have the dome things that you put on the path, they would suit the vibe, and be stylish.

@@artygor2524 that's where you're wrong for there's a script that enables something known as dev mode which allows you to do things that you can't normally do in survival
@@artygor2524 it's easy, you can go into the files. You'll see a directory called survival. Go into craft recipes. You'll see a item list. Open it with notepad. Open the craftbot file. Copy one craftbot recipe between the {}. Change the item ID to one from the itemlist. For example scrapmetal. Make it so the recipe takes no time and materials to make it. There, it's done. In game set scrapmetal on repeat. You'll have a chest full in no time.
@@timothyrose-richardson8990 Yeah, that is also possible. But the thing is that you will have to shift click to fill a chest with a material so that it will actually have a quantity for later use in a video. Not saying Scrapman is doing things like this. Just saying it's all possible.

I think it’ll look pretty cool to have dormor style windows on the hallways. That may make it look a bit better on the outside and let in more natural light.

You can’t do that.
Raid timers are not reliable because of the tickrate and the connection delay.
It would either ring too late, ring randomly, or just not do anything.
I might work the first few times, but it won’t be for long.
Wooden roofing framed by brick could look really good for the walkways. And be less resource intensive than glass. But if you want a glass roof, consider perhaps paneling/framing it in regular intervals, say 2 or 4 'panels' per side. I think that would look better than an uninterrupted glass roof along the whole walkway.

You should paint the carpet black and if it seems fitting, paint the railing red(I wouldn't do the railing but it's your build your choice) you should also build a brick base for each of the wooden pillers

The modding community is here! Bits and Bobs has exactly that feature. As of right now, it is still in the process of being updated to 0.4.6. However, once it does, it will also be compatible with Construct Mod Loader, which makes mod loading insanely easy for compatible mods (and also makes mod making significantly easier). The issue is that it's very difficult to spread the word, and so it takes a while to get a decent number of compatible mods.
Probably know this by now, but i think the general area on top of the wall including the funny notches is the battlements, and those funny (But oh so beautiful) peaks are called parapets. (Great looking base!)

I did scrap man. I noticed.
I like the idea of having towers over the ramps and attached to main area on the 2nd floor. This would let you walk over to those sides and shoot from above if any haybots stop due to the water. Plus, towers anchoring each side would look cool.
I really like the cover over the walkway, and the dome things at all the corners in the walkway too.
At the top I would recommend a single light on a barring with a controller spinning it. Also I wonder if the headlights shooting its light thru painted glass would it change?
And I suggest painted glass windows on the gazebos featuring scrapman's adventures

That looks so good. You should have some arches supporting the breezeway.
Scrapman! You should put alarms throughout your survival base (use totebot heads and spinning lights)! Then have a timer that fires off a signal every 24 minutes, that signal leading into an AND gate with a switch connected to it, and connect the gate to sound the alarms! Then, when you have crops planted, you turn on the switch, and then the alarms will sound when the raid comes!

I think a big glass, not dome persay, but more like a curved cylinder over the farm could be really cool. If you want a good example of what I mean, look at pictures of the Kew Gardens greenhouse in London England.

You should make a big stained glass window using the paint tool with the scrap man symbol, your face sideways, Hank, or just some item that you like

Idk if you were already planning on doing this but adding a vehicle creation area for you to build your vehicles would be a cool addition to the base
The blockiness of the glass also reminds me of a kaleidoscope, so please keep it that way
Instead of using a seat or stairs, a fast way to get to the higher floor is a bounce pad. Just make a pad with a sensor with a range of 2-3 in the middle of a 3x3 floor attached to an upwards facing piston with a distance of 1 and a speed set so it pushes you high enough to get to the next floor. that way you don't need to make sure you are facing the right way, or that the seat wasn't moved. you just have little "elevator" places to get up. I use these in my world after trying to make an elevator and accidentally making these which are way better.

Sp where the left and right back gazeibo towers you should round off the back so its more of a flushed transition like you did with the Horse shoe drive way so it isn't to blocky on the corners
At first I was like I don't know about this then now I'm seeing what you wanted and it looks amazing, I like it a lot.
Make timer that starts at midnight and after 23 minutes it triggers alarm for few seconds and make it start again after one minute in midnite or just add 24 hours but starts at 23 o’clock.
That way you wont miss the raid

You know why not create more craft bots and recycle bots ? You can place some fireplaces and knight-armor bots also steam hammer anvils on the loop ( i ma not sure how can you recreate fire effect though...). I'd suggest made ocean side wall in glass with glass tunnel leading to parking. Maybe rotating lifting platform garage ? Or underwater several stores vehicle elevator ? Maybe placing refinery bots on the crane so you can lift it above resource cages ?
Defenetly extend the glass from the cozeebo along the tunnle. It would look very nice!👌
I like how scrapman said he wasn’t good with building designs and then he always builds thinks that look really AWESOME
My suggestion would be adding curves to the pillars meaning that you should make some sort of arch for the pillars that way they feel more supported (Kinda like a parabola but sharper)
And also to add some "accent" to the tunnels around the middle so it doesn't feel like one long brick layer across the entire surface. You could add some sort of arch thats 1 block bigger than the tunnel to add some support and some more accent to it.
Build an Old school brick house with a glass tile floor over the farm connected to the walkway giving it a manor type feel to it

I HAVE A PLAN:
Go to the little shacks and harvest the stuff from the porta potty. Then, build a ramp on bearings facing out to the water. Finally, make the porta potty on bubble material and have a floating toilet :D
If you want to see the open area of the crop farm, you could make that archway into a tunnel, and it opens up like a flap.
Have those be full tunnels but add a second open bridge in the center to get to the farm quick
at 22:16 that hay bot was like " PAY ATTENTION TO ME"
Under your path with the gazebo things, you should have a half cylinder on the bottom, or some sort of tapering shape of some sort to give your farm and base more retail and pop
Hanks got stockhome syndrome he missed the alert on that last raid while getting milk however
If you want to see your farm, have a bunch of windows along the hallway/archway thing
