For Oisin Kiernan, Cavan footballer, it was his family, his friends, his team mates, his community that supported him when he received his cancer diagnosis. And it was his love of football and his passion to wear the Cavan jersey again that drove him to train, even while undergoing chemotherapy. Oisin’s resilience and his determination to battle and overcome testicular cancer at the age of 25 was driven by the support and help from the community around him.
