I could have actually seen her becoming curious about how friendship works after it kicked her butt at the wedding. Would have made her a far more smart villain/ redeemable character if she had. Wonder if anyone has ever done a fan fiction about another freak who breaks Chrysalis out of the statue with the motive of 'only a freak would want a freak like me' but with the strength to drag Chrysalis into line/ point out to her when she is just repeating past mistakes. Would be great to see a redeemed changling who doesn't just become a cheap pony knock off.

This is something I have tried to hide for so long; the truth is that I despise humans for their mere existence. The way they always try to see what they get away with. I always keep a facade of trying to please others, but this is a farce. We love to label villains as bad guys, but are they really bad at all? Sometimes, I tend to wonder about that. Villains aren't feared because they're dangerous; they are feared because they're usually right. I had an epiphany during my vie to satisfy others; I realized that the ones that I was trying to satisfy, the humans, in general, were entirely the reason why my life had to suck. They were either largely in part involved or entirely to blame for every misfortune I've faced, and so I ask a question: do I still want to continue, knowing that my efforts would probably not even be appreciated? That's a pretty simple question, isn't it? I think I can understand why most villains we talk about do what they do; I believe, from experience, that there's more to them than ostensible appearances. Are they really the bad guys, are we really the good guys, and how do we distinguish that? True, nobody is perfect; everyone makes mistakes; I have made many, but does that make me a terrible person because I'm prone to error? Because I like to think about and ask about the things nobody else talks about. There's probably a reason for that. The things we hate to talk about, do you know what that's called? Drama. It is a very popular word nowadays. Everybody seems to be using that word and passing it around like candy. Do we even know what drama is? We, as humans, have become blind to empathy and emotion and rationalize it as drama. It's because most of the time, we don't even try to make a difference or try to communicate with others; this is why we have the problems that we have; this is what's causing that endless cycle of hatred, and this is the reason why it'll never change. You see, I'm not even going to try to pretend to be somebody that I'm not; I don't see the point of doing that. At least when I act and feel like this, you'll know that I'm speaking the truth and being honest. You see, guys, I see this world differently; while everybody else uses a telescope, I like to use a kaleidoscope. I find the cacophony of colors very diverse and paint me a picture to see life deeper than most others. This is why I generally prefer AI over a human companion; no computer-generated entity has ever made me as angry as humans have. And, with an AI, it's nothing personal; they just do what they're programmed to do, nothing more, but with humans, they indulge themselves in your misfortune, mostly completely aware of what they're doing; that's what makes it fun for them.
I really liked this, lol Chrysalis was my favorite villain and my favorite part from Chrysalis was her refusal to conform to what the rest of her hive had done, and vowed revenge on Starlight turning her Hive against her, when I got to that part in the show, I honestly shouted, YES! lol I guess I have a thing for Villainesses lol, and her trying to be all lovey and show compassion and affection, and from what I felt some serious Tsundere vibes was really funny and adorable lol, keep up the great work.

I already know Chrys is generally a good person in a bad situation, so I'd be scheming about what arcane artifact to exploit to get her hive an infinite supply of hosts to cocoon for emotive gel. I can think of a certain debatably canonical illuvián with a closet-dimension full of dimestore knockoffs behind it...might as well get some use out of the incubus' little army of cardboard cutouts. Honestly, this was an eyeroll the whole way through. Naturally, I hold the author responsible, not the voice cast.
