Much appreciated and was great hearing about all the fantastic things you're growing!
Nice trees. I've ordered from them too
Thank you.
Agreed
Good luck with those $150 mangos grown in compost!
I remove the majority of the compost soil when I replant and repot. Mangos are doing great.
@@backyardorcharddreams good idea!
I also live in California, north part. Interestingly the lychee/mango trees I got from Everglades are much bigger than from PlantOgram
Oh that's interesting. I guess it depends on what they have in stock. How are your Lychees and Mangoes doing? How cold are your winters?
@@backyardorcharddreamsOne mango and one lychee made through the winter without noticeable damage. The other one mango and one lychee are dead.
@@sampsunsshort winter in nc
Are you in riverside?
Near Riverside
So what are you going to do about the mango trees when it gets cold?
For mangos in pots move next to the house or indoors. It hasn't been cold enough to affect my mangoes in-ground. They seem to be hardy down to the low 30s. If it were colder I would put about a foot of mulch around the trunk and/or cover it with a tarp if it's small enough.
@@backyardorcharddreams ok thanks!
