Lyrics: Sleep and healing comes In the heart of darkness, out from the abyss As a light that blinds my eyes Now as a kiss, from sorrow to bliss In the morning I may rise But at night I descend, in search of heaven From my veiled in misty mind Where I am broken, there i’ll see again Where there are dreary streets come dance with me And like blooming seeds from dark we’ll reach We’ll sing out loud to the orphaned now And make a holy sound with our dirty mouths They speak a language on the heights Like the sound of silence, or a blinding brightness But not a hymn nor sound nor cry Not but a kiss names the God of heaven So I seek that inner flame to know that kindness And to see that goodness And like keys my deepest pains Unlock the heavens, though I am ragged from them
I've been trying to read the Bible on my phone. Many distractions have kept me away. I turn on Benjamin James and continue on Genesis 45 then get to 45:12 And, behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaketh unto you. While listening to brother Benjamin sing to me and THAT is no coincidence. Thank you Lord for such gifts. The Lord told me years ago "You're on the right path". He spoke into my right ear, my deaf ear and clear as a bell. On the right path.
"So I seek that inner flame to know that kindness And to see that goodness And like keys my deepest pains Unlock the heavens, though I am ragged from them"
Sleep and healing comes In the heart of darkness, out from the abyss As a light that blinds my eyes Now as a kiss, from sorrow to bliss In the morning I may rise But at night I descend, in search of heaven From my veiled in misty mind Where I am broken, there i’ll see again Where there are dreary streets come dance with me And like blooming seeds from dark we’ll reach We’ll sing out loud to the orphaned now And make a holy sound with our dirty mouths They speak a language on the heights Like the sound of silence, or a blinding brightness But not a hymn nor sound nor cry Not but a kiss names the God of heaven So I seek that inner flame to know that kindness And to see that goodness And like keys my deepest pains Unlock the heavens, though I am ragged from them

I think that's the powerful thing about music- it can mean something different to everyone. I like it because it speaks to me personally. My parents, for instance, probably won't like it because it doesn't outrightly proclaim that we've overcome the listener's potential dark state in their life. There's a book that comes to mind called "On the Incarnation" by St. Athanasius. It's a very short book of about 100 pages that discusses the importance of what Jesus on earth and now raised from the dead means to us that are still on the earth. It's the difference between the church in the east and the church in the west- the east seems to magnify the God in us whereas the west magnifies our problems but has a place of serenity in that God brings us through it. Like in Hamlet, "To be or not to be, that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing end them?" Is it better to suffer through them or fight like hell to overcome them? God loves us regardless of our decision, but the decision is ours in the end. Hope this helps! And sorry for being so damn long-winded haha!

"Make a holy sound with a dirty mouth" -- I love that.
For the first time i rather hear worship song than pop
Lyrics:
Sleep and healing comes
In the heart of darkness, out from the abyss
As a light that blinds my eyes
Now as a kiss, from sorrow to bliss
In the morning I may rise
But at night I descend, in search of heaven
From my veiled in misty mind
Where I am broken, there i’ll see again
Where there are dreary streets come dance with me
And like blooming seeds from dark we’ll reach
We’ll sing out loud to the orphaned now
And make a holy sound with our dirty mouths
They speak a language on the heights
Like the sound of silence, or a blinding brightness
But not a hymn nor sound nor cry
Not but a kiss names the God of heaven
So I seek that inner flame to know that kindness
And to see that goodness
And like keys my deepest pains
Unlock the heavens, though I am ragged from them
OMG thank you! I was looking for the lyrics on the internet, but couldn't find it.
It still blows my mind that this song is as little-known as it seems to be. It is nearly perfect by my estimation. I have to imagine God loves it.

Do you have the rest of the liyrics ?

Y these kind of creative persons are not famous y
Because this level of poetry is too deep for most people to understand. Therefore, mainstream record companies don't pursue them.
Stereotypical Geeks
Maybe it’s not upbeating and filled with adrenaline like pop. Many people can understand this poetry
👌👌👌👌
