Thank you for posting this. I'm going to see him on Friday night in Clearwater, FL. I've been following his performances since the 1970's when I lived in Philly. I am so incredibly excited, I can hardly wait! :-)
Firstly, I loved Jackyboy Jerry Jeff Walker, the Scamp, cause he sang right to my soul just like Sam Cooke. Beside the great songs he wrote, he recorded other folks songs and he made them his songs too. Keep rolling Jerry Jeff.
He played at a club in Boston in the late 70s & reminded the audience to please tip the waitresses pointing to my wife saying, “Look how skinny that waitress is.”
I like this version best! Hate he quit touring! Great musician.
