Le Sserafim are another one of my favorite GIRL GROUPS after BLACKPINK to be honest and they make so many bops. They are indeed a 4th gen girl group btw so quite recent. In April of 2022, the members were revealed in this order: Sakura, Garam, Eunchae, Chaewon, Kazuha, and lastly Yunjun. LE SSERAFIM is a five-member girl group (USED to be 6 members and I’ll explain below). LE SSERAFIM are under Source Music which is a subsidiary of HYBE (one of the BIG Kpop- companies as yall know). LE SSERAFIM debuted on May 2, 2022 with their FIRST mini album, song/mv “Fearless.” LE SSERAFIM’S name is created by the anagram of 'I'm Fearless', and LE SSERAFIM’S group and members represents self-confidence and the yearning “WILL” to succeed in life without being held back by anyone or thing. They also make sure they share this same kind of energy and insight with their fandom, the fans are called “FEARNOTS.” Next I recommend their songs “ANTIFRAGILE”, “EVE, PSYCHE, & THE BLUEBEARD’S WIFE”, “IMPURITIES”, “PERFECT NIGHT,” “UNFORGIVEN,” “BLUE FLAME” (not a music video but they have live stages for the choreo and it is AMAZING. These are most of the MVS they have do along with some Japanese version MVS as well cus they are still quite recent as a group. Past member: 1:20 Garam: was one of the vocalists ( real good one too) (Backstory) -On May 20 of 2022 literally a few weeks after they debuted ,Source Music announced that “member Kim Garam would be on hiatus after being embroiled in bullying accusations.“ I think I told yall before (in GIDLE reaction vid) how South Korean scandals are very big and can ultimately ruin an idol’s career, reputation, and even life. Especially when it comes to bullying. Idk what it is about South Korea and their bullying issues but it’s pretty big esp when almost 95% of their dramas include some form of intensive or crucial bullying storyline as if to raise awareness. Anyways, Garam was being dragged through the media left and right due to some school bullying allegations which were later proven to be false in the sense of her not being a major perpetrator. At the time Garam was only 17 and something happened when she was sticking up for a friend. The claimed “victim” alleged that Garam used verbal and physical violence towards them. However, Garam admitted to verbally calling out and ganging up on the person who was doing weird things to her friend but never physically came at them (school documents proved Garam was never physically violent and she even got “level 5” punishment issued by the school). But people assumed because she got level 5 punishment she was guilty of level 5 physical violence as well but that was not the case at all. Garam admitted she was remorseful of this and emphasized again and again her actions and wrongdoings but never took claim of being physical which she never was as was confirmed. In fact, the only reason why Garam did what she did though was bc the “victim” was allegedly “posting pics of Garam’s friend undressing” or something crazy and Garam took it into her own hands rather than reporting it to the school. But hey, if I was Garam I would’ve did the same tbh… literally sometimes you tell the school and they never care. And in Korea I’ve seen dramas that dramatize but re-enact real school bullying situations of schools covering up anything just to save name and face. But yea and this happened when they were in like middle school…it’s a lot and there’s so much more but either way Garam was later proved innocent overall (even with her minor wrongdoings) but by that time it was too late. The school violence committee closed the case and Garam was already terminated by HYBE. Honestly the saddest thing in kpop I’ve experienced along with SOOJIN from GIDLE’s situation. On July 20th of 2022 HYBE and Source Music decided to terminate Garam’s contract sadly. Current members: 1:47 Sakura: Japanese, Vocalist, Rapper, 25 years old and also the oldest member, ( fun fact: Sakura was part of a former PROJECT based girl group called IZ*ONE, but they disbanded back in April of 2021 as they were meant to be a project or “temporary group I told yall about before. 1:26 Chaewon: South Korean, Leader, Vocalist, Dancer, 23 years old, (fun facts: Chaewon, along with Sakura, was ALSO a member of IZ*ONE, She is also the most popular member along with Sakura in LE SSERAFIM). 1:29 Yunjin: American-Korean (Born in Korea but raised in New York and yes she is 100% fluent in English), Vocalist, Dancer, 22 years old, ( fun facts: Her English name is Jennifer and while in New York, she went to a school for the arts where she performed in Opera shows. She shows her opera skills from time to time. She is also usually the speaker/interpreter when they attend English based interviews.) 1:34 Kazuha: Japanese, Vocalist, Dancer, Rapper, 20 years old, (fun fact: Kazuha is a professional ballerina. Kazuha trained at the “Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Russia and the Royal Ballet School in the UK. Both schools are amongst the best in the world and the Royal Ballet School only accepts 16 students per intake.” Additionally, back in 2020, she was then accepted by the “ Dutch National Ballet Academy in the Netherlands” which is a very prestigious ballet school and quite competitive. Also, Kazuha was PERSONALLY recruited by Source Music's CEO Seo Sung-jin who found her to be incredible and so now Kazuha left her ballet career for kpop idol life and we always will support her. Kazuha also stated multiple times that BLACKPINK influenced her to become an idol! We're always blown away by the amount of great educational info you provide on these groups. Another fantastic and informative comment. That's really a sad story about Garam, especially if no major wrongdoing was found. And yes, for now, we have no plans to do any boy groups, and we know that will disappoint some people. We have several reasons for that, one is that we got burned out on them back in the day with N-Sync and Backstreet Boys when Coach Junior was very much into boy bands. We realize that K-pop is likely different but it's just not something we're currently motivated to listen to, and we feel the girl groups balance out the normally male-dominated classic rock we also do on the channel. Also, we've heard several times about boy groups getting a lot more air time on reaction channels and we have so many of these groups we want to deep-dive into, and it simply doesn't make sense to introduce an entirely new category as well. Plus, Coach Junior showed us some BTS videos a while back and it really wasn't our thing. And it makes no sense to dive into something we know doesn't resonate with us. Anyway, thank you again!
@@CoachCastTV Interesting that Coach's reasoning for focusing on girl groups is the same as mine - for my whole life it's been mostly guy groups, so, when I found Kpop and the plethora (word of the day) of great girl groups, I was hooked. I think the last guy group I liked was Boyz 2 Men.

The journey of Yunjin (red hair) resonates with me more than those of most other idols. After being eliminated from the survival show Produce 48 (fellow Le Sserafim members Chaewon and Sakura made the final cut to join the gg IZ*ONE), Yunjin flew back to NY with the intention of leading a "normal" life, applying to college and putting her dream of being an idol behind her. But she confided that, after 4 years of being away from home, she felt she no longer fit in where she grew up, making her feel lost and alone. She was even getting offers from K-pop companies at the time, which for whatever reason she turned down, ready to head to college in Boston, tuition already paid. But when HYBE (one of K-pop's Big 4) presented their offer, something about this one felt different. As soon as she heard it, she would say that her heart was already back in Korea. It seems Le Sserafim was her calling.
*LE SSERAFIM* is actually an anagram of *"I'M FEARLESS"* (ty he song). These ladies are one of the best girl groups of 4th Generation. They are in the same company as BTS, NEW JEANSand several other groups. I'm a BLINK through and through, but I've recently gotten into Le SSerafim, too. My current favorites are ANTIFRAGILE and UNFORGIVEN, but Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard's Wife is a solid bop, too!
They're one of my favorite new girl groups because they have that lower tone I always mention - it just creates a different vibe that I like. The floor work is actually quite common in Kpop, but the overall choreo was really good. I don't know why Coach wanted us to use "individual alley way" in a sentence, but, here you go.
That particular chore had to be changed for the live shows, though...people did not like that there were (at least two) members who were nowhere near 18 years old doing THAT floor work move on camera, so when you see this choreo at a live stage, it is different and the middle floor work is not done. They do something completely different in its place. For a group comprised of all adults, nobody would have had a problem with it.
YESSSSS! I love each of these girls soooo much!! Chaewon (the short haired one) is my bias but Sakura (the one who caught your eye) is easily my second. This entire group has such big, unique personalities. They're sooo fun to watch behind the scenes. Their chemistry is one of a kind
Kazuha is Japanese and trained ballet most of her life I guess Sakura is also Japanese and this is her 3rd debut. She is a veteran. Yunjin was training operatic singing Eunchae is the cute little sister everyone wants 😂 A.K.A "Manchae" Chaewon is the leader Garam is not in the group anymore due to an scandal over false accusations...
I was a fan of Sakura Miyawaki going all the way back to when she was in the Japanese girl group AKB48. Then she was among the members of that group who competed against Korean idols on the (controversial) series Produce 48, and as a result she was selected to be a member of IZ*ONE. I actually got to see them perform live in 2019, but IZ*ONE was a temporary group and now Sakura is a member of Le Sserafim.
When I first heard this song, it was just not bad. But I soon found myself listening to it on and on and on. It's soft and addictive to me, also implicitly provocative.
Le Sserafim is my second favorite group after Blackpink. I fell in love with this song immediately and still play it all the time. Chaewon is my bias and Yunjin my bias wrecker in this group.
one of the best new groups to emerge in recent years. initially they individually attracted me with their individuality as I already had two bias's in Sakura and Chaewon but in reality it was their collective fearlessness and lack of fragility that made me realise what a potential powerhouse this group of individuals could be. Love this group! I think they took a little heat for the “floor choreo” later in the video because they had a very young member at the time of their debut. But they have great choreography in all their videos.
They're great dancers, but when I watched this debut video, I came away thinking more about the choreo than the vocals or members. The company apparently wanted to highlight that they could really dance, but you don't buy albums for the dance. ;)

My first impression is that Blackpink have some new serious competition! This group has caught my attention more than any K-Pop group other than BP. I particularly like the lady with the lighter, auburn hair. Her voice really stood out to me, and she has attitude! It's also refreshing to see that one of the ladies has short hair. New jeans dominated 2023 year. So there songs must be great! They have win almost all the grand prize award in all of south korea award events. And they only been out a bit over a year. New jeans won song of the year and artist of the year 2023 in mama award 2023, mma 2023, AAA 2023. No one came close. When you win song of the year or artist of the year , it means you made it as a successful famous singer

We're always blown away by the amount of great educational info you provide on these groups. Another fantastic and informative comment. That's really a sad story about Garam, especially if no major wrongdoing was found.
And yes, for now, we have no plans to do any boy groups, and we know that will disappoint some people. We have several reasons for that, one is that we got burned out on them back in the day with N-Sync and Backstreet Boys when Coach Junior was very much into boy bands. We realize that K-pop is likely different but it's just not something we're currently motivated to listen to, and we feel the girl groups balance out the normally male-dominated classic rock we also do on the channel.
Also, we've heard several times about boy groups getting a lot more air time on reaction channels and we have so many of these groups we want to deep-dive into, and it simply doesn't make sense to introduce an entirely new category as well. Plus, Coach Junior showed us some BTS videos a while back and it really wasn't our thing. And it makes no sense to dive into something we know doesn't resonate with us.

Interesting that Coach's reasoning for focusing on girl groups is the same as mine - for my whole life it's been mostly guy groups, so, when I found Kpop and the plethora (word of the day) of great girl groups, I was hooked. I think the last guy group I liked was Boyz 2 Men.

The journey of Yunjin (red hair) resonates with me more than those of most other idols. After being eliminated from the survival show Produce 48 (fellow Le Sserafim members Chaewon and Sakura made the final cut to join the gg IZ*ONE), Yunjin flew back to NY with the intention of leading a "normal" life, applying to college and putting her dream of being an idol behind her. But she confided that, after 4 years of being away from home, she felt she no longer fit in where she grew up, making her feel lost and alone. She was even getting offers from K-pop companies at the time, which for whatever reason she turned down, ready to head to college in Boston, tuition already paid. But when HYBE (one of K-pop's Big 4) presented their offer, something about this one felt different. As soon as she heard it, she would say that her heart was already back in Korea. It seems Le Sserafim was her calling.
What a great story. Glad she gave it a shot!
*LE SSERAFIM* is actually an anagram of *"I'M FEARLESS"* (ty he song). These ladies are one of the best girl groups of 4th Generation. They are in the same company as BTS, NEW JEANSand several other groups. Tjey are amazing and you won't be disappointed with their music or MVs.

I'm a BLINK through and through, but I've recently gotten into Le SSerafim, too. My current favorites are ANTIFRAGILE and UNFORGIVEN, but Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard's Wife is a solid bop, too!
They're one of my favorite new girl groups because they have that lower tone I always mention - it just creates a different vibe that I like. The floor work is actually quite common in Kpop, but the overall choreo was really good. I don't know why Coach wanted us to use "individual alley way" in a sentence, but, here you go.
Everyone needs an individual alley way on their walk through life. LOL
That particular chore had to be changed for the live shows, though...people did not like that there were (at least two) members who were nowhere near 18 years old doing THAT floor work move on camera, so when you see this choreo at a live stage, it is different and the middle floor work is not done. They do something completely different in its place. For a group comprised of all adults, nobody would have had a problem with it.
YESSSSS! I love each of these girls soooo much!! Chaewon (the short haired one) is my bias but Sakura (the one who caught your eye) is easily my second. This entire group has such big, unique personalities. They're sooo fun to watch behind the scenes. Their chemistry is one of a kind

I was a fan of Sakura Miyawaki going all the way back to when she was in the Japanese girl group AKB48. Then she was among the members of that group who competed against Korean idols on the (controversial) series Produce 48, and as a result she was selected to be a member of IZ*ONE. I actually got to see them perform live in 2019, but IZ*ONE was a temporary group and now Sakura is a member of Le Sserafim.
When I first heard this song, it was just not bad. But I soon found myself listening to it on and on and on.
It's soft and addictive to me, also implicitly provocative.
Le Sserafim is my second favorite group after Blackpink. I fell in love with this song immediately and still play it all the time. Chaewon is my bias and Yunjin my bias wrecker in this group.
one of the best new groups to emerge in recent years. initially they individually attracted me with their individuality as I already had two bias's in Sakura and Chaewon but in reality it was their collective fearlessness and lack of fragility that made me realise what a potential powerhouse this group of individuals could be. Silliness aside, their catalog just gets better and their b-sides are just as good as their title tracks - I look forward to more of Le Ssarafim on your channel.

Love this group! I think they took a little heat for the “floor choreo” later in the video because they had a very young member at the time of their debut. But they have great choreography in all their videos.
They're great dancers, but when I watched this debut video, I came away thinking more about the choreo than the vocals or members. The company apparently wanted to highlight that they could really dance, but you don't buy albums for the dance. ;)

My first impression is that Blackpink have some new serious competition! This group has caught my attention more than any K-Pop group other than BP. I particularly like the lady with the lighter, auburn hair. Her voice really stood out to me, and she has attitude! It's also refreshing to see that one of the ladies has short hair.
