51:34 Yes Lex Luthor is Superman's arch nemesis but he still travels to Gotham either for business or political reasons sometimes. Also that was not the first introduction of Harley Quinn. That was her first appearance in the comics in 1999. Her first appearance in general was in 1992 in Batman The Animated Series in the 22nd episode of season 1 titled "Joker's Favor".

And it's extremely unlikely that it did. Dennis himself said that it was 85 votes at max. Given the difference between Jason living and dying was 72. The number was a toll number, meaning you had to pay. And calculating JUST the 85 votes that MIGHT have been sent, it would've been over $40 in the 80's in order to do so. If DC put out a vote today, would you be willing to spend $100 to kill a character? I doubt anyone would, especially considering it's an old system. You'd have to auto-dial an old Macintosh. Again, the only reason the rumor exists is because the editor of the comic stated he heard from somewhere that it MIGHT have happened with absolutely no evidence. Robin doesn't appear in movies simply because movie creators try to avoid repeating the mistake of "Batman and Robin" movie from 1997. It was so horrible, that back in the day, movie creators didn't want to make superhero movies until Brian Singer's X-Men and Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies were made. And Batman wasn't touched until Nolan.
Oh and once again, the video talks about Harley Quinn first appearing in canon comics. Her actual first appearence was in Batman the Animated Series, which was made by the same people and same cast as Mask of Phantasm
1:03:28 Darkseid is a New God and the tyrannical ruler of Apokolips, a sadistic, aggressive and merciless tyrant who has invaded and conquered countless worlds throughout the universe (and one of the top best villains in DC comics). Darkseid seeks to enslave all things to his will using the Anti-Life Equation.
The origin for Jason described in this video is the pre-crisis origin; in Post-Crisis, he's an orphan to a disgraced doctor and two-face thug who gets caught by Batman trying to steal the tires off of the batmobile to sell them. He takes him in and Jason becomes Robin, and, well...
My favorite Batman comic storyline is No Mans land. It's mentioned in the video. No Mans land is a yearlong arc about Gotham being destroyed by an earthquake and being abandoned by the government. The people that stayed behind created a violent tribal like society fighting over food, supplies, and territories. Readers can collect the arc in a five-book set.
Damian is featured in a number of animated movies. There's a long series of 16 or so movies that begins with Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox and covers a fairly wide range of connected DC stories.
An underrated Batman comic is Batman: Cult. It's a four-issue storyline about Batman facing an evil Cult leader Deacon Blackfire. It might be the darkest and most twisted batman story ever made. Blackfire was in a side quest in Arkham Knight.
1:17:15 that is the Batman Who Laughes, a Batman that was infected with a Joker toxin as the Joker died, basically becoming as crazy and brutal as the Joker. He is a terror to his universe, and is so freaky to me
Fun fact: This video and his Spider-Man one inspired me to start work on a Power Girl script with a similar concept. For the basic gist, Power Girl’s an older Supergirl from Earth-Two (the universe that first Batman was from) who survives the Crisis and has to adjust to the new history. She becomes the CEO of her own company and a regular member of the Justice Society (the Earth Two Justice League who also survived the Crisis).

Batman is like superman and spiderman in that they are pinnacles of what fictional characters should be. Great stories, great supporting cast, great villains etc
if you want a superhero video like this I highly recommends B- mask we are the Fantastic Four, its super well done and a great deep dive on the characters and comic runs
Second this, that video is probably the best video I've ever seen on RUclips. The voice acting, the production, the editing, god, it's perfect. I highly encourage anyone who has not seen that video, even if you don't care about the Fantastic Four to watch it, it's amazing.
Darkseid is mainly a Superman villain but reoccurs as a Justice League villain and he is Thanos with Superman powers that also has multiverse powers to make himself in a 4th dimension outside of the multiverse
Some videos about a character that you were very curious when playing the games that I really recommend you react to are about Killer Croc and I feel like they will really change the way you look at the character moving forward. The first is called "Kiler Croc Origin" by the channel Comic Origin. The second one is called "Killer Croc is a Sad Character" by Mullet-Man Comic
I would also recommend Salazar Knight's videos on Batman, including his videos in the Golden, Silver and Bronze Ages of comics and the recaps of individual years and eras afterwards; they helped me digest and go back and read the most classic eras of Batman and offer an incredible in-depth look at the character
Damian Wayne appears in several animated DC films including Son of Batman, Teen Titans Vs The Justice League, it’s sequel, Teen Titans the Judas Contract and Batman vs The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The movies with Damian are in the dcamu universe. The movies from beginning to end are Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013) Justice League: War (2014) Son of Batman (2014) Justice League: Throne of Atlantis (2015) Batman vs. Robin (2015) Batman: Bad Blood (2016) Justice League vs. Teen Titans (2016) Justice League Dark (2017) Teen Titans: The Judas Contract (2017) Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay (2018) The Death of Superman (2018) Constantine: City of Demons (2018) Reign of the Supermen (2019) Batman: Hush (2019) Wonder Woman: Bloodlines (2019) Justice League Dark: Apokolips War (2020)
I should point out that Nightwing/Dick had a lot of uh, pain and abuse in this time Most notably he died when Damien did, then was alive as a spy but everyone except Batman thought he was dead. Also KGBEAST shot dick and he forgot who he was and called himself Ric, until he got his memory back. He also had been dating Barbara/oracle on and off since like 1999, they had this whole childhood romance thing, they’re dating in current comics too I also recommend looking into a book called “Batman the Black Mirror” which is Grayson Batman, but it’s a masterpiece, deserves a film adaptation. Lego Batman family matters is also another fun film, not too serious but good
Hey man, i recommend watching "Gotham", a serie about, well, Gotham before Bruce became Batman. The main character is Jim Gordon, but we get to see other interessting things like Bruce and Selina childhood, rise of the great rogue gallery and all that fun stuff. I mean, the writing can get bit lazy sometimes but i still think it's entertaining as hell. The Penguin or the Riddler in the serie, are definitely my favourite live action iteration of them and they are played brilliantly by the actors, honetly the whole cast is amazing. Oh and Alfred is a fricking badass. So i recommend checking it out, but i get if you wouldn't since it's really long.
This series has my all-time favorite Alfred. Great show. The Jokers in this show are actually awesome, too. Mark Hamill said that Cameron, who played them, did an amazing job.
Batman is my favorite hero. I favorite run is the Grant Morisson run (the one that starts with Talia introducing Damien and ends in Final Crisis). I think Batman was depicted the most competent there despite all the difficulties he faced. One of my favorite Batman quotes come from that run. At the end of that run right before the Final Crisis event Batman heavily drugged and having fought the enemy and faced other situations was very exhausted and slept for days. But immediately after he woke up Superman called him to solve a murder mystery for the JL my man didn't even get to pull his together. As Batman prepared to go to the JL HQ his inner thoughts contained the quote which I said earlier, it is : "Super-people. I've worked so hard to gain their respect, they sometimes forget I'm flesh and blood." I think that fits his situation quite well.
A really interesting video exploring batman's no kill rule is called; Batman does NOT kill by a youtuber called Hitopfilms, i can't recommend it enough, really passionate video
I recently read through all the old comics for the first time, and I gotta say, the Knightfall, Cataclysm, and No Man's Land story arcs are my favorite
There's a DC WEBTOON called Batman: Wayne Family Adventures where you get to see the Bat-Family in their everyday lives. It's actually pretty wholesome. There's also another WEBTOON called Red Hood: Outlaws about Jason Todd and the outlaws.
ras al ghul is pronounces ras and not raysh because thats how its pronounced in its language however the creator of the the character pronounces it raysh because when they were coming up with the name a university proffesor told him thats how it was pronounced so thats how he pronounces it so although the name itself is raz the characters name is pronounced raysh as thats how the creator of the character pronounces it and well... he made it
There’s a few movies with Damian as the Robin. There’s a trilogy movie called Batman Unlimited and he’s a supporting character in those three. It’s a kid friendly movie series so don’t expect a dark story. The movie Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super sons is a team up movie of the sons of Batman and Superman. Also more on the light hearted side. And then in old DC animated movie universe the Robin of those movies was Damian. Although the old universe was 15 movies long and not always a Batman movie so Damian won’t be in all of them. If you wanna go down that rabbit hole then it’ll be a long crazy ride. The ending brings all the other movies together into an ending that rewards you for watching all the others. Just type DC Animated Movie Universe for the full list of movies
51:40 Harley Quinn was actually first introduced in “Batman: The Animated Series”, but she ended up becoming really popular and that’s why they added her to the comics
Fun fact: The idea and concept of Harley Quinn was made popular by Batman the Animated Series. After fans fell inlove with her she was written into comics and is now one of DCs biggest characters. One of the reasons we don’t see her in the earlier Batman comics. PS you should watch Batman the animated series. It is the beginning of DCs whole animated universe that aired in the 2000s. It leads into the new Batman adventures, then into Superman the animated series which leads into the justice league show and also justice league unlimited, finally ending with the Batman Beyond show. It is an amazing universe sharing continuity thru each show. Possibly the closest adaptations of the characters in media. If you liked The Mask of the Phantasm you’ll love the rest of the story. That movie is technically the beginning of it all
The first story Batman debuted in was actually stolen, beat for beat, some direct dialogue and even art, from a pulp novel called 'The Shadow' (one of the most popular pulp character of all time) called Partner in Peril. During the story The Shadow is even described as 'batlike'. Kane and Finger would also go on to steal from the Shadows radio show including Joker, joker gas and even Batman iconic moniker as the Shadow was sometimes referred to as 'The Knight of Darkness" . Kane and Finger had been caught out several times for steal but DC has a long history of covering it up. Lots of DC/Batman characters have their roots in the pulps. Catwomans entire modern design was ripped wholesale from Ms Fury. Harvey Dent was taken from the og Black Bat (Finger also boosted of stealing BB finned gantlets after a failed attempt to sue) And lets not forget Doctor Clark Savage, 'the man of bronze' who kept a secret base in the artic called the fortress of solitude a good decade before superman existed. (oh, Savage is also referred to as a 'superman' in his books btw)
Just to let you know, in Alex’s Video on the history of Spider-Man it mainly only goes over the Amazing Spider-Man run of comics up to where it was at the time of him making that video so it’s not fully up to date and doesn’t include much of the other spider-man stories from separate comic runs
There was basically a whole sub-genre of Golden Age Superman stories that most people call the ‘Super-Dickery’ era. Basically, a very common draw to get people to pick up a Superman comic back in those days was to portray Superman doing something cruel, petty, or downright evil on the cover. The idea being the average comic book fan would see this cover, think to themselves ‘What would ever make Superman act this way?!’, and read the comic to find out, usually for the comic to reveal it was all part of some act or brainwashing or something that morally washed Superman’s hands of whatever dickish behavior was depicted on the cover. They used this trope… a lot. There are entire forums dedicated to archiving all the times DC used this trick to sell Superman comics.
Btw yes in the early comics Batman stopped using guns after Robin's introduction, but it was mainly because of the policy and complaints against heroes using guns that made the artists and writers stop letting Batman use guns. However soon over time, and in all other versions, the no kill rule just became part of his character, which made sense as Batman is all about second chances and values human life more than anything as his parents were killed by guns.
1:09:18 Of all the robins Damian might have the most animated appearances. In Son of Batman, Batman vs. Robin, Justice League vs. Teen Titans, and Batman Bad Blood he’s either the main character or a huge part of the plot. Same goes for Teen Titans: the Judas Contract, and Justice League Dark: Apokalips War.
@20:43 well the CREATOR OF THE CHARACTER pronounces Ra’s Al Ghul’s name as Raysh Al Gool. So if the creator says it’s like this, I’m gonna say it the way THE CREATOR said/intended. Hey if that’s good enough for the Batman the animated series crew (Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, etc.) then that should be more than enough for us all.
Everyone doing the Batman origin every time someone make a movie. There are so many universes and stories out there. I would love a Helena/Huntress story
It been years, and the main Alfred is still dead. They have literally opportunities to bring back which they did took, but they still ended up going back to the notion that out Alfred is dead.
Please watch the Justice League and Justice League unlimited ( same show )from the early to mid 2000s. Over a decade of expierience of making dc animation is packed into this show . The people who made batman the animated series , superman tas and batman beyond. These two shows which are actually 1 show are incredible. The people making this stuff know what they are doing.
There is :- son of batman which introduces Damian Wayen , batman vs Robin where we get introduced by the court of owls , batman bad blood which introduces batwoman and and batwing ( I don't know the proper name you just have to watch it
And you asked about Damian wayne related movies , yes there is.. If you want to see that then you should watch DC animated universe movies like mcu total of 16 movies starting from flash point paradox. It include Damian wayne story movies like " Son Of Batman" , Batman vs robin and more... But all are connected so you should watch these movies in order by starting from flashpoint paradox.👌
1:19:27 Bruce actually sent Damian in to free Alfred but it didn't work out Also for what happens after, Dick and Barbara are getting together (and they might marry in the Nightwing run by Tom Taylor) he leads the Titans, Tim breaks up with Stephanie (off screen... Don't ask me why I think they just wanted him and Bernard quick)and dates his friend Bernard and is now confirmed to be bisexual, Damian is actually broken-hearted by Alfred's death and shit happened in Adam Glass's Teen Titans run (it's shit), he leaves his father. Tim is then asked by Bruce to be Robin again. (he was way better when he was Red Robin but sure) Damian then joins the Lazarus Tournament in his own run that came out in 2021 because he's fucked up (he explains why he did join it while fighting Connor Hawke, who's in the top 3 of the best martial artists of all time with Lady Shiva and Cassandra Cain) but he ends up being friends w him and they end up defeating Ra's Al Ghul's mother, Ruh Al Ghul (who was basically the Master Chen (ninjago) of the tournament) and he kisses Flatline. After the tournament he stays with his mom and Ra's Al Ghul until Ra's is killed by Geoforce impersonating Deathstroke. That leads up to Talia killing Deathstroke, Damian and Bruce getting back together and Damian actually agreeing to the Heroes Do Not Kill rule by arresting Geoforce. Slade is brought back and whatever the fuck Dark Crisis is happens. Damian investigates Lazarus Island but then he gets corrupted by a demon called Nezha and Batman vs Robin happens. Batman fights corrupted Damian, Batman ends up corrupted and Damian's himself again so they fight again, after that Batman almost dies but w magic he is healed and they're themselves again, they get back together (Also I forgot Batman gets broke and he loses Wayne Manor) Batman created a robot that would be his contigency plan for himself that even superman couldn't stop that would wake up and attack Batman if he ever killed. Batman is impersonated for Penguin's murder so the robot who's called Failsafe wakes up and does shit. Gotham War happens between Selina and Batman (I didn't read that alright) then there's the latest run that's... Really weird I don't even know how to explain even though I read it. Batman and Robin's run happens and basically Damian's back into Bruce's custody and they both live in a small house in the middle of the city named the Brownstone (his base of operation since he lost the Wayne Manor to Wandal Savage got the Manor) and they're dealing with an old teacher of Damian who was a friend of Hush who is now a teacher in Gotham's high school where Damian's going because Bruce wanted him to have a normal childhood even thoughand Man-Bat and also Damian and Flatline (his gf) deal with Flatline's sister, Mila, who got the same powers as her and wants to follow what she thought would be her sister's footsteps. And right after both Flatline and Damian infiltrate that school and all of the villains got arrested and Flatline left Gotham because she didn't want to burden Damian with Ra's Al Ghul's ghost who's haunting her. What's coming next in Batman & Robin basically is that Maya Ducard, the daughter of the mercenary that Damian killed in the video to protect Batman (long story short they became friends when she tried to kill Damian to avenge her dad but she realised that Damian wanted to redeem himself and she became friends w him) was asked by Damian (when he was on bad terms with Batman after Alfred's death) to investigate Bane's position and she found him but apparently she's stuck there, now Bruce and Damian might be leaving in next month's issue to Dinosaur Island to find Bane
Batman kills in the future too idk which comic series it is but Bruce is old he fought as Batman for nearly 20 years and after death of Robin he comes back from his retirement He lost his speed and dexterity so he just crush people with brute strenght i love this version of Bats tbh its his little villain arc hes lost hurt and angry willing to do everything to get rid of criminals this version of Bruce appears on the big screen only one time in the movie Batman vs Superman and its pretty fucking awesome
If u wanna see more of Damian watch the son of Batman animated movie. It’s part a series of dc animated movies that take place in the same universe so u can watch them in order and learn more about dc as a whole but Batman is in most of the films
12:35 it's because they can't get past them grouping up dispite needing to develop the heros first but instead try to do oragins/group up/teamwork learnt all in one movie when it just dosnt work
If you think that all superheroes lose their families, then read Blue Beetle from the 2000s (unlike the movie that came out in 2023) Jaime has his mother(Bianca), his father(Roberto), his little sister(Milargo), his two best friends (Paco & Brenda), and his girlfriend (Traci 13/Traci Thurston).
Well anyone who's considered a main character with a few "side characters" making an exception is bound to be resurrected, and the bat family members for example are not side characters, they are still super heroes. Maybe a more "c-list" character like the crazy quilt would have a chance to permanently die or never make another appearance but even he may return at some point
I mean, Gordan's wife and Martha Wayne have stayed dead. Also it wasn't mentioned in Alex's video but when Jason was originally killed, it was left up to the readers to vote on whether he'd survive or die. Die won though it theorized that the voting was rigged by someone
Bruh I’d highly recommend you react to all the DC animated films from the 2010s, there’s a whole series of films that not only touch on many of these Batman stories but of the Justice league overall. And if not that then I also HIGHLY recommend you check out Young Justice
35:30 idk why he said that, but Batman had every intention of killing joker and he didn't bring up the part about the government asking superman to stop him from doing so. Batman didn't save him either he left him in the plane as it crashed.
You need to watch DCAMU animated movies they are based on New 52 comics it starts with Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox and ends with Justice League Dark: Apokolips War but it continues with Tomorrowverse animated movies which are a direct continuation of DCAMU. And, you need to watch DC Showcases which is short animations that are combined into one movie especially for DCAMU and Tomorrowverse you need to watch Batman: Death in the Family and Constantine: House of Mystery. Perfect watch order is order they are released.
Son of Batman is the start of a huge cinematic universe where damien is robin and it shows his origin it’s called the DCAU if u wanna look it up and react to the movies in order, they are very good 🙏🏻🙏🏻
if you like "mask of the phantasm" you should check out the old animated universe. the movie is part of that universe. "batman the animated series" is still amazing. it's then followed up by the new batman adventures, the superman animated show, batman beyond and finally justice league and justice league unlimited. it's overall an amazing superhero universe that developed some fan favorites like the backstory for mr.freeze, the entire character of harley quinn as well as a few other things that became a part of the batman lore.
Damian Wayne is awesome. The character completed changed not just the Bat universe but Dc's mandate on the Trinity [Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman ] not having biological kids. He's in the DC animated shared Movie Universe, The Harley Quinn TV series, Batman/TMnt movie and The Battle of the Supersons movies
Dunno if anyone else here has recommended it, but regarding the segment about comic censorship during the 50's & 60's, the channel "InPraiseofShadows" has a wonderful two-parter about "The Golden Age of Horror Comics" (where things like "Tales from the Crypt" were partly responsible for the more strict rules that impacted all comics regardless of genre/subject).
Always hold on to how important Robin is, cuz most adaptations sideline him. He predates Alfred, Joker, Catwoman, Penguin, Two-Face - he's a huge part of who Batman is.
If you want you could see Channel Nerdgasm’s videos that talk about comics or even into the depths, and Salazar knight just some RUclipsrs that talk about some important Batman comics and stories
1:09:13 Well Damian is not in any cartoon yet, but he is in DCAU (DC Animated Universe), you can read about movie order to watch on wikipedia, actually it would be cool if u reacted to this universe on this channel, its not just about Batman, but hes the most centered character, also its not too many movies in it. And most importantly James Gunn new head of DC Studios is rebooting DC Live Action Universe in which first Batman movie (Batman Brave and the Bold) is going to be about Bruce and Damian with Bat-family being already established.
Eventually you may end up watching man of steel and batman v Superman, Wonder woman ,Zack snyders justice league etc. The first half of the dceu is great. Except josstice league. The crap theatrical version of justice League. Up to the first Shazam movie everything is pretty good. After that it's hit or miss depending on taste. But when you get to Batman v Superman. Your gonna see a batman who has broke his one rule. But it's not for no reason. If anything it's more tragic seeing our favorite hero "fall from grace" where Batman started off as the hero we love. Lost someone (you'll see who) and it kinda breaks batman and he no longer sees the benefit of sparing some of these criminals. Now he's not just snapping necks. But the story was to give him a redemption arc over the course of a few films. Taking him from what he was, breaking batman emotionally, and him having to right those wrongs and become the Batman he once was again. Hopefully batman v Superman doesn't turn you off. I loved it since it came out I liked the unique story with the promise of batmans redemption. Had batman killed for no reason like a daredevil character, you can imagine why fans don't like that
Off the top of my head there are a few major stories that got skipped over. There's Bruce Wayne: Murderer? and Bruce Wayne: Fugitive where Bruce Wayne gets framed for killing his girlfriend and unable to find proof of his innocence abandons his life of Bruce Wayne and is Batman 24/7 for a while. Eventually the Bat Family convinces him that Bruce Wayne has value and they prove his innocence. Death and the Maidens is when Ra's Al Ghul's other daughter kills him and is the reason he tries to use Damian as a host to get resurrected. Battle for the Cowl is when the entire Bat Family fight for the right to take up the mantle and become Batman after Bruce seemingly dies after Final Crisis. Jason is the main antagonist and Dick of course is the one who wins in the end. Also, Raysh is the pronunciation DC seems to want. All of the animated and video game stuff since the 90's pronounces it like that. As far as I'm concerned the sheer amount of official content pronouncing it that way is proof enough.
The Mad Monk is a vampire, it’s ok to kill them while they’re in the death sleep. Because awake, they are all powerful except for the weaknesses , contrivances of the author and lazy writing in general.

I love how the title is now "Batman Noob" instead of "non-batman fan" after Mask of the Phantasm. hard not to be a fan after that lol
I’d also add that Darkseid is the inspiration for Thanos (and is far more powerful)
The Azrael from the Arkham games was Michael Lane, who became Azrael after Jean Paul Valley. He is also from the comics.
Lady Shiva was who he turned to rebuild his body from Bane to take down Jean Paul
Also another random fact: Tim drake actually dated Jubilee from the xmen in a crossover comic series between marvel and dc
He is a terror to his universe, and is so freaky to me
Honestly the worst written evil batman variant.
She becomes the CEO of her own company and a regular member of the Justice Society (the Earth Two Justice League who also survived the Crisis).
here's a list of animated movie that damian wayne is in
1.batman: the son of batman
2.batman vs robin
3.batman bad blood
4.justice league vs teen titans
5.teen titans judas contract
6.justice league dark apokolips war
7.batman ninja
8.batman and superman battle of the supersons
9.batman vs teenage mutant ninja turtels
Jason todd was just brought back in the lazzuras pit after the restarted again
I would also recommend Salazar Knight's videos on Batman, including his videos in the Golden, Silver and Bronze Ages of comics and the recaps of individual years and eras afterwards; they helped me digest and go back and read the most classic eras of Batman and offer an incredible in-depth look at the character
Damian Wayne appears in several animated DC films including Son of Batman, Teen Titans Vs The Justice League, it’s sequel, Teen Titans the Judas Contract and Batman vs The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
He also appears Injustice 2 as a playable character
He also appears in Supersons movie and the Harley Quin show.
The movies with Damian are in the dcamu universe. The movies from beginning to end are
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013)
Justice League: War (2014)
Son of Batman (2014)
Justice League: Throne of Atlantis (2015)
Batman vs. Robin (2015)
Batman: Bad Blood (2016)
Justice League vs. Teen Titans (2016)
Justice League Dark (2017)
Teen Titans: The Judas Contract (2017)
Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay (2018)
The Death of Superman (2018)
Constantine: City of Demons (2018)
Reign of the Supermen (2019)
Batman: Hush (2019)
Wonder Woman: Bloodlines (2019)
Justice League Dark: Apokolips War (2020)
I'll leave this here lol, I need to check these out myself
I should point out that Nightwing/Dick had a lot of uh, pain and abuse in this time
Most notably he died when Damien did, then was alive as a spy but everyone except Batman thought he was dead.
Also KGBEAST shot dick and he forgot who he was and called himself Ric, until he got his memory back.
He also had been dating Barbara/oracle on and off since like 1999, they had this whole childhood romance thing, they’re dating in current comics too
I also recommend looking into a book called “Batman the Black Mirror” which is Grayson Batman, but it’s a masterpiece, deserves a film adaptation.
Jason’s death in the original was voted on in a Scarecrow issue on if he should be gone or kept, since he wasn’t as popular as Dick
As Batman prepared to go to the JL HQ his inner thoughts contained the quote which I said earlier, it is :
"Super-people.
You were already one of my favorite youtubers. Now you're even more awesome that you're becoming a Batman fan. 🤝
Let's be real here, Batman is beyond human at this point.
There's a DC WEBTOON called Batman: Wayne Family Adventures where you get to see the Bat-Family in their everyday lives. It's actually pretty wholesome. There's also another WEBTOON called Red Hood: Outlaws about Jason Todd and the outlaws.
ras al ghul is pronounces ras and not raysh because thats how its pronounced in its language however the creator of the the character pronounces it raysh because when they were coming up with the name a university proffesor told him thats how it was pronounced so thats how he pronounces it so although the name itself is raz the characters name is pronounced raysh as thats how the creator of the character pronounces it and well... he made it
You're right, now that I hear it, Mr. Zero sounds like a Bond villain, and Mr. Freeze sounds cheesy in comparison.

Harley Quinn was actually first introduced in “Batman: The Animated Series”, but she ended up becoming really popular and that’s why they added her to the comics
Damian has a heck ton of movies, starting with “The Son of Batman”
Damien appears in DC's Animated Super Sons Movie,
Btw yes in the early comics Batman stopped using guns after Robin's introduction, but it was mainly because of the policy and complaints against heroes using guns that made the artists and writers stop letting Batman use guns.
53:27 First thing - intelligence and tactics, second(and the major one) *KRYPTONITE!*
We need more of these.
There are animated movies with Damian, it's a long series starting with flashpoint paradox and Justice league: war
I kinda wish this video explored Bruces relationship with his kids a bit more, they completely glossed over Cassandras existence 😅
Everyone doing the Batman origin every time someone make a movie. There are so many universes and stories out there. I would love a Helena/Huntress story
1:17:00 the person he calls “that fuckin thing” is The Batman Who Laughs
It been years, and the main Alfred is still dead. They have literally opportunities to bring back which they did took, but they still ended up going back to the notion that out Alfred is dead.
there is an entire DCU animated timeline that is pretty dark, and tells the story of damien pretty well (imo). would love to see you react to it
Please watch the Justice League and Justice League unlimited ( same show )from the early to mid 2000s.
1:19:27 Bruce actually sent Damian in to free Alfred but it didn't work out
Also for what happens after, Dick and Barbara are getting together (and they might marry in the Nightwing run by Tom Taylor) he leads the Titans, Tim breaks up with Stephanie (off screen... Batman fights corrupted Damian, Batman ends up corrupted and Damian's himself again so they fight again, after that Batman almost dies but w magic he is healed and they're themselves again, they get back together
(Also I forgot Batman gets broke and he loses Wayne Manor) Batman created a robot that would be his contigency plan for himself that even superman couldn't stop that would wake up and attack Batman if he ever killed.
1943 Batman and 1949 Batman and Robin are worth a good watch
Batman kills in the future too
idk which comic series it is but Bruce is old he fought as Batman for nearly 20 years and after death of Robin he comes back from his retirement
He lost his speed and dexterity
so he just crush people with brute strenght
i love this version of Bats
tbh its his little villain arc hes lost hurt and angry willing to do everything to get rid of criminals
this version of Bruce appears on the big screen only one time in the movie Batman vs Superman and its pretty fucking awesome
If u wanna see more of Damian watch the son of Batman animated movie. It’s part a series of dc animated movies that take place in the same universe so u can watch them in order and learn more about dc as a whole but Batman is in most of the films
Alfred still isn't back yet I think, so they REALLY committed to the bit.
Of course Batman has fought Gods. Hes literally the leader of the justice league lol
12:35 it's because they can't get past them grouping up dispite needing to develop the heros first but instead try to do oragins/group up/teamwork learnt all in one movie when it just dosnt work
Alex Lennen has so many good videos. I HIGHLY recommend his video, "The Wall"!
55:46 He's mostly a flash villain he's apart of a group called the rogues.
35:30 idk why he said that, but Batman had every intention of killing joker and he didn't bring up the part about the government asking superman to stop him from doing so. Batman didn't save him either he left him in the plane as it crashed.
Those first issues of Batman set up his most important qualities: He's Bruce Wayne, Commissioner Gordon is his friend, and he kills people 😁
Ras is an actual Arabic word meaning head hence Head of the demon Ras al Ghul (ghoul meaning demon ;)
51:42 First appearance in the comics at least she's a completely original character that was created for Batman the animated series back in 1992.
- Mr. Zero (Derell Perkins)
@Blaze so terrible fact he didnt mention is its implied that Barbra gordon was assaulted after she was shot
Fun fact: the New 52 remake of Batman’s first story implies that the dude who got thrown into the vat of acid is a possible past identity of the Joker
So did you hear about the time Stan Lee, the creator of Spider-Man, wrote his own take on Batman for DC?
12:33 I got you bro. Give me a sec
Bane is also a regular in the Harley Quinn show
Linda got bat-boozled
Okay I can’t stop looking at jokers chin😂
1:09:13 Well Damian is not in any cartoon yet, but he is in DCAU (DC Animated Universe), you can read about movie order to watch on wikipedia, actually it would be cool if u reacted to this universe on this channel, its not just about Batman, but hes the most centered character, also its not too many movies in it.
And most importantly James Gunn new head of DC Studios is rebooting DC Live Action Universe in which first Batman movie (Batman Brave and the Bold) is going to be about Bruce and Damian with Bat-family being already established.
Surprised he didn’t mention The dark knight returns 1 and 2
there's a son of batman movie and justice league: flashpoint paradox is a must watch its such a great movie
Had batman killed for no reason like a daredevil character, you can imagine why fans don't like that
I find it funny how they feel the need to tie all the generations of Batman together. Why not just call them reboots like they are?
41:21 bane has always smart the movies just fukked up his rep
The Mad Monk is a vampire, it’s ok to kill them while they’re in the death sleep. Because awake, they are all powerful except for the weaknesses , contrivances of the author and lazy writing in general.
I think it's actually impressive that DC kept Alfred dead. He's still dead today I think. They're really committing to this so far.
55:44: Yeah, he's also a Flash villain
