This episode on CBP: after finally receiving some answers from Purple and White, Kiddo still has a lot of questions in her head as she drives through a very much deserted copy of Belasco City. While she now knew the weird mannequin-like figures were not her friends and their goal was to hinder Kiddo’s progress, there was still a lot of stuff to be asked. Considering they, just like the Shadow Kiddos were also figments of the girl’s imagination, what is to be gained from this? If Purple and white are correct, staling Kiddo’s progress could not only keep her stuck in this limbo, but even kill her if this keeps going on for long enough, and that was the part that puzzled the teen the most… Looking for some insight, she calls for her shadow counterparts on the radio.
“Purple? White? There’s this thing I don’t really get, you know? If those things’ main goal is to stop me, and that will invariably kill me at some point, then… what is there to be gained, if anything at all? I don’t get it! If they’re also part of me, if I’m gone, so are they! This is self-destructive, and kinda dumb, I must say. WAIT, if they’re me, like, kinda, but they are being this stupid… does that mean I’m dumb? This is beyond confusing!” “You’re only human, you don’t need to be one hundred percent consistent all the time. See, part of being human is being inconsistent, ever-changing, and incoherent at times.” “White is right. However, I do have a theory for this.” “Huh? Do tell!” “Well, we all know what you’ve been through the last few years, after the Belasco 400. That was harsh, VERY harsh. Sometimes, in order to deal with terrible things, people do other stuff to themselves that are even worse!” “What d you mean!?” “Katie, I thin this is probably THE most elaborate act f self-harm ever conceived by a human being” “WHAT!? You think I’m like those emo teenies who cut themselves because they don’t know any better and…” “Yeah, pretty much!” “That’s aggravating! How can you...” “Well, you ARE a teen after all… Not an emo Kiddo, but still…” “Look, this is borderline offensive, and not true! Why would I set myself up to failure? I’m pretty happy with my life as it is, despite everything. I mean, we do have access to your memories. Remember when you still lived in Port City? That one day when the dummies made a candy festival, and you ate so much that your blood sugar was at 450 and they were worried that you had diabetes?” “That was a one-off thing! And the candy they made was so delicious… Heck, I even had to buy larger clothes for a while from all the gained weight! But I wasn’t trying to secretly kill myself, if that’s what you’re implying.” “Then what is to say of how you regularly eat candy and gets regularly sick out of it? Or how you’re into driving like dummies do, that meaning you do all the dangerous stunts they regularly perform? You know you’re made of flesh and bone, and unlike the silly plastic people, you break easy! I mean…”
Not wanting to deal with Purple and White’s taking. Kiddo stops her Piccolina, grabs some bubblegum to chew and steps into the empty streets. Stopping their own cars right after, the shadows come closer to the girl.
“Listen, I need some time for myself, okay? One doesn’t find they’re trying to kill themselves slowly and on an unconscious level every day! Just… give me this moment!” “Fair enough! Don’t take too long though…” “...otherwise it might be too late!”

Darkstig *HAD* to pick the day I started my new job to break into my garage and steal my plow truck. That figures... *HEY DARKSTIG! HERE COMES THE PAIN!* (Good thing retired Deputy Knievel gave me one of his buses to keep as a spare just in case...)
(I actually did start a new job today, working part time at an Ohio-based grocery store. Finally, after 2 1/2 years, it's good to be back on the workforce once again.)
That's great news! Just don't show up to work driving a snow plow truck, might scare customers away!🤣
@@artsydoodler29 Real funny, Deputy Rocket - of course I wouldn't do that. I would use my daily driver ('14 Ford Focus originally from Canada) to get to work and leave the plow truck in BeamNG Land.

@@artsydoodler29 It's only got a little over 40,000 miles on it (or almost 64,500 kilometers for those who use that form of measurement for distances). It has been very reliable, and it should last me another 6-8 years if I take proper care of it... and by that, I mean don't do any 'BeamNG.Drive' things in the real world!

Perhaps a newer weapon like the one used in Episode # 100 😛. Perhaps the Sheriff will tell us our the ends 😀🤔
