VinnyLogz because it’s not a show about superheroes. If that’s really your gripe with the show you shouldn’t even try to analyse television because you’re dreadful at it. The boys is about the power dynamics between regular people and people with inhuman abilities and how this affects society, navigating through the political and economic realities of a new world order. The show is so much deeper than just people wearing capes and punching each other super hard.

@verbadum22 i think it was more about that mystery coil circled around him. No name, fucked up past, he has only few people, that he can trust. I think Hood is mostly telling all emotions with his eyes. I saw more than thousand movies and more than hundred shows, but still: never enjoyed someone else more than Antony - Antony and his wet eyes, were the main reason, why i watched Banshee. Not for action, or anything else. Just for his wet, sad eyes.
It was so depressing and Antony was giving an 100% in every scene and action moment. He was so devastated, fucked up every episode, with so many scars and etc, dirty from dust and blood and that... exaggerated face, oh man. He was like... you can tell, that he didn't slept well. His eyes were so tired... but this is what is making him an brutal badass for me.

Not a fan of The Boys I'm afraid, just not for me, but Antony steals the show every time. He is the best thing in it for me. My preference is his work in Banshee though, a phenomenal show that I didn't discover until 2018, two years after it finished. My all time favourite show now. Antony was also the most amazing, most intense performer I've seen since James Woods. I think Ivana Milisevic said it best on one of the commentaries, 'Antony Starr basically has lightning bolts coming out of every pore of his body'. So true.
