Before It's Too Late [Sam and Mikaela's Theme] (Video) Видеоклипы
"50 years from now when you're looking back at your life don't you want to say you had the guts to get in the car?" Damn that scene and this song puts things in to perspective. the present is so immeasurably valuable. To take chances and dont be afraid to make mistakes. Live like you mean it
ok

16 Wishes yesss!!
Yes
The movie wasn´t good as well, but ill never forgetr this scene
And love till you feel it.
Transformers in 2007 and this song, both were something beyond breathtaking.
Currently rewatching the series, but absolutely nothing compares to the feels you get when this scene comes on, I wish it was 2007 again
The sequels for Transformers may be bigger, but the first one will always be the best
TF3 and Bumblebee came the closest, but TF1 remains the best.
BUMBLEBE IS GOOD, TF1, TF2 AND TF3 GREAT, TF4 BORED, TF5 OK.
TF5 is the worst thing that happened to Transformers since TF4
"Bumblebee" is superior to all of them.
And I love Sam and Mikaela
A song to enjoy a night drive on the open road.
Yep
This song makes me cry, it's telling you to not hold back and live your life with open arms and I always struggle with that but this helps me remember that all our pride and insecurities are pointless in the end and to let go.
Anj Clifford
So true
I give my best but still it wasn't good enough. . .
This song I heard yesterday and should have heard it years ago. I understood it the same way you did
i agree wit you lol. but in the song they say hold on!. n
i miss Shia and Megan in the transformers movies...good old memories
Transformers 1...still the best..
Takes me back to the Summer I graduated High School. Michael Bay knew what he was doing when he called John up to write a song for this film. John Rzeznik is a lyrical genius.
I was 16 when this movie and song was released. Now, I'm about to turn 31. Wild. Both are still great and hold great memories for me! 💖
I was 15 years old when Transformers and Before It's Too Late release
Since there I like Goo Goo Dolls music, I listen Goo Goo Dolls since Stay With You but Before It's Too Late convince me to listen their music, and is a great decision
I was born like a year after this movie came out but this is may be one of the best movies to exist and the movie that introduced me into the world of rock music when I was like really young I have so many stories with all the bands in the transformers movies
Hard to believe this was 8 freakin' years ago. Still it's a timeless piece of work for me!
Rhyse Kayne you from the future bruh? still 2015
Aldrin Limosnero The first Transformers movie came out in '07 bud.
VincettiBros And how many years have passed since 2007?
Rhyse Kayne Fool you got the wrong one bud
+Rhyse Kayne I'm getting old for this shit...
Forget the sequels. The first movie is genuinely good, I dare even say it's a flawed masterpiece...
RISE OF THE BEASTS was BRILLIANT 👏 🙌 ✨️ 👌
Jeez, I feel old. I remember watching the first Transformers film in theaters 8 years ago. I don't care what others will say about this film. It started my love for Transformers, and nothing will ever change that.
Me too
*Me too*
i love first transformers film
Me too. Say anything about sequels but first movie was always good and still is.
Fucking, *SAME*
This is the song that made me a fan of The Goo Goo Dolls. This brings back so many memories. Use to have this song on repeat til I fell asleep. Its so good.
Agreed
This also made me a fan of the Goo Goo Dolls. Funny story behind it though. So I purchased the song on iTunes in March 2013. Late that month, a relative passed away. I had to go to the funeral, which was my first ever. So I had the song on repeat the whole time cause I'm a huge Transformers fan and I thought the song was pretty good. So I have a cousin, who's my age, who is the granddaughter of the man who passed away. Her name's Elizabeth. So anyway, I know who the man is who died, and I sort of know the people on this side of the family, but not very well. So all day, when I get the chance, I'm listening to Before It's Too Late. On the day of the actual funeral ceremony, after it, we have lunch together, the whole family and all. So we sit down, and Elizabeth sits down at the table across from me. Now I knew who she was, but we were never really friends; we never really became friends because ours families didn't visit often. So after lunch, she suprises me by introducing herself to me. At that moment, we became friends. On the ride back, we're chatting on Facebook and I'm listening to Before It's Too Late the hold ride back. Ever since that day, March 29, 2013, Before It's Too Late has solidified itself with Elizabeth. Everytime I listen to it i think of her. So the days go by and I keep listening to this song because it's REALLY good. So i decide to listen to some other music from the Goo Goo Dolls and I instantly became a fan. Long story short, the death of a family member and a new and amazing friendship with my cousin, helped me become a Goo Goo Dolls fan :D
Nick Tasy WOOOOOW!!! That is truly amazingly awesome. You really never know what's going to happen and what a song will end up doing for a person. Interesting story. a great one I should add :)
ChattGM Thanks! It really is a cool story, imo. And yeah, you're right. We've all got a song that reminds us of a special someone :)
Nick Tasy Your welcome. It is. Thanks for sharing it. And that's definitely true we all do :)
10 years flies so fast.
yup so find Jesus bro eternity is forever.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4
@@KingSteamRoller. why the fuck it became religious out of nowhere
Now are nearly 17 years old, I'm older now
I cannot believe that it's been 7 to 8 years since Transformers came out. I remember it greatly and the amazing year that came with it. 2007 was the best year of my life. When I first saw the teaser in theaters, I became ecstatic. It was the first ever live-action rendition of TRANSFORMERS, a long time franchise that's been going on since the 80's. To see Optimus Prime duke it out with Megatron on the big screen was awesome. The action, the story, the humor, it was just fun. Okay, the humor needed some work, but still it's an awesome movie nonetheless. And because of the movie, the franchise was brought back to life. There were TF merchandise everywhere; action figures, coloring books, comics, video games, novelizations, Burger King toys, music soundtracks, and the stop motion fan films. How could I forget the stop motion fan films. :)
Of course, it wasn't just Transformers that made 2007 a good year. There was also the movie Surf's Up and some other stuff that came too. Sweet, sweet memories. :)
Yup.
+ThePizzadude93 (This song) reminds me of my first crush.... :)
ThePizzadude93 The best childhood for all of us ❤😢
And suddenly your comment is 6 years old and that movie has aged even older and in another glimpse or two, transformers will loose its copyright protection in 84 years. And almost everyone who watched this very movie and everyone around us will be stardust.
We wonder of our place in the universe, our place in the vast cosmos. I say, the answer lies in those 15 minutes of dawn and dusk everyday. Cherish the blessings that lies in abundance around you and they are often free of charge.
yeah ik there so many other great movies that made 2007 a great year like The 5th Harry Potter movie, Spider Man 3, Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer, Meet The Robinsons or Shrek The Third 😊😉 that was one of my favorite years for movies PERIOD!!!
“50 years from now when you’re looking back on your life don’t you want to be able to say you had the guts to get in the car?” That line means so much to me. This song is amazing it’s pushing you to take chances and live fearlessly and until you do you’re not living! Do things that are consistently making you get out of your comfort zone so that you experience all that life has to offer.
This song was my son and his girlfriend’s (now wife) They were high school sweethearts and every couple picks a song. I have 2 beautiful grandchildren now.
I still replay this song from time to time.....honestly old songs are so much meaningful and relatable. I miss the good old days~
Fun Fact About This Song: In an interview with City Beat, Rzeznik explained the difference between writing for a movie and writing for an album: "I think the biggest difference is when writing the songs for a film, you sort of have your subject matter in front of you and the concepts right in front of you. The emotional aspects of whatever part of the film you are writing for are laid out in front of you. It gives me a bit of a format to work under, you know to work with. When you are writing songs strictly for yourself, sometimes you're pulling stuff out of your hat. You're sort of making up stories or reflecting on conversations you had with someone. I think it’s easier to write songs for film because you have that road map in front of you and put the pieces together." In a 2013 Songfacts interview, Rzeznik spoke further about his role in creating film music: "I like it because it puts me in the role of supporting cast member. I have my subject matter in front of me and I'll read the script, I'll see the movie. I'll try to talk to the director, if that's possible. I'll talk to the music supervisor and ask them what kinds of things they want. To me, it's a really great exercise for songwriting because you have to fit what you're doing in a very supporting role. It's not the main thing. You're there to support the vision of the director, and support the story. And enhance whatever part of the movie you're asked to put the music into."
Filming the music video, which features the band performing on top of a tall building, was a wild experience. Bassist Robby Takac told Pocono Record: "Dude, it was nuts. We shot it on top of a 20-story building in Hollywood. They had a bunch of huge costumes and banners hanging behind us to promote the movie. There were helicopters whizzing around our heads. I was looking at all this stuff thinking, 'This is more dangerous than anything they did in the movie.' Then I realized when people see the video, they're just gonna think they CG'ed us on top of that building, which kinda sucks. That's really us up there. And, dude, let me tell you, OSHA (the Occupational Safety and Health Administration) was nowhere to be found."
Take me back to 2007... minutes to midnight, summer slam, my crush in school. Mann no wonder why people pay top dollar for this nostalgic stuff.
wow, 15 years, and man, I still love watching this movie...this song really fits..
Every time I listen to this song, I think about how great the first Transformers is as a life-changing movie, like Star Wars: A New Hope back in 1977.
I don't think these two movies could be compared.
Nevertheless, the first Transformers movie was OK. The rest is just terrible.
- lots of CGI
- no script
- full of plot holes
- different background story in every movie...
@@Vipera01 well obviously. Practical effects won't work when you need 20 ft tall robots fighting each other constantly. The plotholes also didn't start until the later movies. Pretty retarded excuses if you ask me. The 1st transformers movie was legendary regardless of what you think about it
@@tjhicks3600 Watch your mouth. The R-Word is a very offensive one
@@Vipera01 lots of cgi? what do u want them to do? build real giant robots that transforms into vehicles?
@@randyx3976 No, too much CGI. The transformers could have been made with simpler transformations, like in the Bumblebee movie.
The first movie had an awesome soundtrack...Linkin Park and GGD? Can't get much better.
(facepalm)
Konstantine Kalmykov What he's right....
Nick Tasy thank you
Shamus Gerrity You're welcome. Tbh i was kinda pissed off to hear that Linkin Park wasn't gonna have a song in TF4
Shamus Gerrity The only movie of the saga with good soundtrack
2007, Transformers and Goo Goo dolls
NEW DIVIDE ➗️ LINKIN PARK 😎✨️✔️🎗💫⭐️🌟👌
im in the military and im stationed away from a very special girl, this song kills me cause it makes me think about her so much. it pushes me to hold out to see her but everyday is a struggle. beautiful song, beautiful feelings, and beautiful thoughts thx
Hope you got to see her again
Being alone with your thoughts is often the hardest part of being in the military. Hope your girl stayed true.
Ela vai voltar ela será tua mulher
I honestly don't know how anyone can not like the Goo Goo Dolls. I understand why people don't like some other pretty good bands but I just can't see a reason to not like the Goo Goo Dolls. They're music is beautiful, meaningful, its something you can close your eyes and get lost in. Its just amazing.
The first transformers is like first love. Hard to forget and will always be in our hearts
I've always considered this to be the perfect song for the prom. Too bad I never got the dance
When it comes to soundtracks, Goo Goo Dolls are kings!
I'm Awake Now (1991) - Freddie Krueger
Long Way Down (1996) - Twister
Lazy Eye (1997) - Batman & Robin
Iris (1998) - City of Angels
Before It's Too Late (2007) - Transformers
All That You Are (2011) - Transformers 2
I'm Still Here (2002) - Treasure Planet
Incredible song with inspiring lyrics, I would not expect anything less from Johnny and the boys.
2024 and still gives me chills ! Thos song is epic fore the rest of my life
This give me nostalgia
I'm not a Goo Goo Dolls fan but I love this song. I was still a US expat living in Hong Kong when this came out. I downloaded it right away to my iPod and listened to it non stop while sitting atop of The Peak overlooking the city.
I'm watching right now
Man on man , i was in middle school when this came out . And how awesome this movie is unexplainable . This movie had me thinking out the box 😂😆. 2018 and this song still makes me feel some way lol
P.s. I even have the decepticon emblem on my Cadillac on the side like the Camaro edition 🤷🏽♂️
that was a good year...
That it was
Amen
yes and always will be.
it's freaking cool that both of my favorite bands are in the same movie T1, the Linkin Park and the Goo Goo Dolls. But this song is always in my heart, it helps me ease my pain for what everything happens to me, just like this song said "Just Hold on before it's too late"
Epic 2007, year I won’t forget
It makes me feela weird type of nostalgia, sadness and hope at the same time. One of my favorite songs.
2007, I was only 10 yrs old when i watched Transformers, just a kid with dreams I’m now 25 holding on to hope and aspirations while I figure this thing we call life. Have a good night and be kind to yourself.
You sure you ain’t a Prime?
all of your songs are miracle pill...timeless and great music...
Looking for this for 12 years since it was on on demand the og on demand ✊🏾😭jeez young kid
I miss this band...
I was in college listening to Thier song...
Still an avid fan here....♥️♥️♥️
Blessed be!😊
15 years gone by and still been a great song
I heard this song when I moved to Tokyo.
15 years later, I still want to keep listening to this song.
This song is hypnotic. The warm, full sound and sentimentally nostalgic vibe. One of the Goo Goo Dolls' best songs!
The first transformers was a masterpiece. Everyone at their top performing and great story. I love bumblebee !! Hated to see him hurt!! Very epic movie. Too bad they ruined the franchise. This one was all heart
The first one is a always a good reminisce to remember
Good thing they rebooted the series with Bumblebee though, that was a good one
can't stop listening to this
Watching this video in 2017, after TLK has been out for 8-9 weeks, makes me actually nostalgic towards the time before and immediately after I saw the first movie. For all it's flaws, I believe the first movie was and still remains the best of them. just for it's simplicity.
time waits for no one, all we can do is accept time and cherish the good moments
This song is infectious, I love it
Timeless song
The first transformers is the best!!!
That's why I'm here
Yup brother
Perfect. I have nothing more to add here.
2007- I was 10 years old and grade 4 at that time and now fast foward to 2021, i'm turning 24 years old, what's really sad is that how old we're getting. 😔
I had 15 years old when this song and the movie release, now I nearly have 32 years old
I thank to the fate for the greatest moments like this movie and this song
This song is helping me get through a rough break up, just thinking about who else in this world will be by my side next & actually being positive about it,
Before It's Too Late"
I wander through fiction to look for the truth
Buried beneath all the lies
and I stood at a distance
To feel who you are
Hiding myself in your eyes
And
[Chorus:]
hold on before it's too late
We'll run till we leave this behind
Don't fall just be who you are
It's all that we need in our lives
and the risk that might break you
Is the one that would save
A life you don't live is still lost
So stand on the edge with me
Hold back your fear and see
Nothing is real 'til it's gone
[Chorus]
So live like you mean it
Love 'til you feel it
It's all that we need in our lives
So stand on the edge with me
Hold back your fear and see
Nothing is real 'til it's gone
[Chorus x2]
It's all that we need in our lives
It's all that I need in my life
Getting hit right in the feels listening to this...Wanting to go back to 2005....so simple back then.... :(
This song came out June 5th, 2007...
Well done Goo Goo Dolls. Well done.
It was this movie that made my childhood so exciting. I'm glad my dad introduced me to Transformers and GI Joe, it made his childhood awesome so he passed it on to me, as I will to my descendants.
Thank you, Michael Bay, for creating the perfect blockbuster movie in my generation
I've been listening this song since the beginning, my favorite song from the goo goo dolls.
Shout out to the people who are still repeating it in 2017 as much as i do :)
Congratulations to John and his wife Melina on the birth of their daughter Liliana Carella Rzeznik, it's the first child for the both of them, first-time parents ever, John is officially a father! I said it here because this was the first song I heard after hearing the news.
Beautiful song
I can forget what I had for breakfast today, but somehow the words just fall out of my lips even years later. Love, love, love the Goo Goos for life💗
This song pains a completely different picture of transformers for me. Instead of it being an action packed robot death battle, it now looks like a story of people trying to survive...or something, I don't know it just feels different.
Alessandro Tavera , the first is the only one worth watching
first transformers is still amazing no matter how many come out smh that one was 👌👌👌👌👌 the memories 😢 time flies
i love transformer 1 and 2 :D
Makaveli yea
Makaveli I love transformers 1-2-3 and 4 and I'm waiting for the fifth one to come out and I watched them all and there is finally a fifth one and it's so epic and I'm really curious about what will happen to the transformers so I just can't wait to watch it too 😆
FEELS LIKE THE FIRST TIME 😈💨😈
True! Ive got a very special bond with this song and the movie transformers 1
Beautiful song, beautiful theme, beautiful clip movie, beautiful soundtrack, and beautiful movie💗💗💗
Actually, Transformers franchise are good, but the first one is the best movie ever made and will always be, without a doubt. 👊✌😉💗💗💗
Rock will live forever
OASIS - LIVE FOREVER
i loved this scene and sams line
"50 years when you look back from this moment don't you wanna remember you had the guts to get in the car?" and they got in...great scene thumbs up if you agree!
15 years. Feels like it was 3 or 5 years ago...
It's been a decade since it was released, still feeling it in 2018 and beyond! :)
This band is one of my favorites, but now the songs are so much different. I feel like in the old songs they have more emotion then now in my opinion.
Did you know they made a bad record deal and owed the record company? Just part of the story but certainly makes you hate make music for a time, what is what they love.
?
What are you trying to say?
Live like you mean it, love like you feel it, is all what we need in our lives.
so wonderful....... love the song
Easily their best song
Megan and Shia were such a great Duo in this movie. Their acting towards each other had insane amount of chemistry. I'm so happy Shoa is doing well now,I wish I could say the same for Megan but she's damaged.
?
Megan cannot act😂 she was just there for looks
@@Yusoo8 I thought she was ok definitely not like Kristen Stewart bad.
this song takes me to when I was 3rd grade in elementary school, good memories,no pressure,no job shit or any responsibility, just beautiful dreams
fantastic film! every time I look at it as if I did it for the first time!!
It's freaking 11 years, I feel nostalgic. I hope we're all surviving and moving..
I miss when Superhero movies used to almost always have awesome soundtracks like this. Now we only get them once in a while 😢
1:31 love the Idonhide sequence so much sync with the music
#Goals. Save the earth. Get the dream girl. #Goals
2017 im still love this
This is still the best transformers movie we've seen 11 years ago
One of the greatest bands of all time period saw u live last year in Indianapolis you guys still got it # goo goo dolls
The best song in The whole films.
Amazing song, needs 20 million views!
One of my all time favorite songs! Time fly so fast! It's still fresh in my head the time when I caught my girlfriend had a secret affair. But this song gives me hope right then. Memories
Sinto muito
It's OK man my girlfriend did the same thing and glad we broke up ❤
Damn 10 years have passed... It was the best transformers movie..ever. Great memories. I always remember I was watching this movie in cinema.
Prokiller CW packed movie theaters everywhere
I love how when I was watching the end of bumblebee vs barricade and this song queued, a huge wave of nostalgia knocked me off my feet and I cried because goddamn, it was perfect.
After a long time i finally found this song oh god the theme is super❤
Hello, how are you doing? It’s nice meeting you here. Thanks for your love and support ❤🤟🏻 Happy new month to you🤟🏻🤟🏻❤️🎊
KANG DANIEL's recommendation
so gooooood!!
Here in 2018, reading comments from 2-4 years ago. Its been 8 years since this song was released. Never have I felt so close to something so distant.
Was just in Vons and this song started playing. Haven’t heard this song in years. Instantly brought back memories from Junior High. Such a timeless song.
Anos 2007, Transformes foi meu primeiro filme que vi no cinema com dinheiro do meu primeiro emprego, naquela época esse filme era demais.
The first one always hits home ♥️
I'm here in 2021! What nostalgia!
Great Song, Great Movie and one of the best bands in my book'
one of the best songs in the best movie
It felt so good to hear this on the big screen again when I went to go to the 15th anniversary fathom event.
Felt like I was 12 years old all over again. I’ve always loved Transformers and the 2007 film will always be my favorite.
Summer of 2007 was so awesome!
この曲には感謝しかない。
Thank you nice music.
