Thanks for the video! But this effect does just work with .mp4 videos! Needed quite some time figuring out why it didnt work with my .mov files..ok just found I was wrong...wasn't the file format. for some reason it works on my first letter but not on the other 2 they just go black when I try it.. :( whats the problem?

I have an idea like this but what if the the letters had a vertical like moving horizontally through the letters. Almost like if just had the image of a line animating left to right as the videos are playing on the letters but you can only see the line on the letters.
I'm trying to this my self but I am using a png sequence of comic stylized images instead of video. I not trying to replicate marvel, but trying to take the idea and expand upon it.

Thank you! Yes, my playlist is randomly ordered, something I should update soon. It's hard to say where to start. What got me passionate about After Effects, was just searching for things I was interested in. Like explosions haha. If you watch enough tutorials that interest you, the software becomes very easy to use and understand. Plus, you'll be able to create things that you like.

dude after applying tracking amount on "video matte" , 'v' remains in its position while zooming out and all other letters come towards it .... not like ur video where all letters in "video matte" when zoomed out , they come together in middle. plzzzzz help man i am a starter

You right click on the png and "create" and then, "shape layer".
