@@jaquestraw1 freaking editor software wasn't saving my edits. 🤣👍
I enjoyed the first one the best lol. All joking aside, Awesome video
Cheers 8)
Loved how you cooked this in a firepit grill by the pool.... good to hear your daughter still behind the cam... good cooking 8)
Steak looks great. NY strips don't get enough love
That’s a sweet firepit. Those are awesome strips. Massive.

Creative grilling Pit Master Joe...Nice apron.
Wow!!! Awesome wood and steaks!
Beautifully done! Cool fire pit too👍😊
Those look amazing. I want one of those pits. Digging the Curtis Mayfield background music
Great work Joe!
Boy Scout campfire steaks....brings back memories. I grew up in south Florida and I've used palmetto fronds as skewers to cook steak over an open fire when I was in Boy Scouts, so I can relate. Nice job!
Hey bro those Steaks look crazy delicious and they've got the right amount of char. Cheers!
Nice joe exactly how I like my steaks 💯🍻
Like number 582 my friend. Looks delicious. Awesome grill .
Damn Joe! I've been trying to get a small fire pit like this working out for my family for awhile! Just a small 30x30" pit to put on my 250 smoker build! Someone beat me to it!
A nice looking firepit. The steaks turned out perfect. Cheers, Joe! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
Wow ❤
Looked good bud
Sweet.
Fantastic job Joe! Steaks look 🔥! Neat little fir pit also. Enjoyed the video. Cheers 🍻
Those steaks look great!! We were camping near Mayhill/Cloudcroft on Labor Day weekend and did some ribeyes over open flame like that and they were amazing! Nice looking fire pit for sure!
Steaks looked great Joe! Thanks for sharing! Definitely looking into that fire pit!
Great looking steak!!
We need some smokin Joes up North here in MN :) What kind of knives do you use?
Hey Joe, I too am from El Paso , I was wondering if you could recommend someone who has been using an Electric MasterBuilt Smoker. I am looking into purchasing a pellet smoker, right now I am between the 36” Camp Chef Woodwind Pro with the Xtra box for more smoke with using wood chips smoke or pellets, the there is the RecTeg 700. If you have any time out of your busy day to give me some ideas, suggestions or advice I would great appreciate your expertise.
Thank you Sir and so happy I found your Channel, keep smoking the awesome stuff for us to watch and enjoy.
If you could pl
Loved the mistakes in the video man keep them in there 😂
Hey Joe those look great!! Can I ask you, what makes that wood “honey “ mesquite? I use mesquite all the time since I’m from south west Tx.
The honey mesquite is a species of the mesquite tree. It's known to have a milder, not as bitter flavor as the other species. It is grown and cut right here in Texas. 👍
@@SmokinJoesPitBBQ Thanks. I’m going to have to try it out. I use the gourmet wood post oak and really like it.
Fantastic looking steak!! Is that a leather apron and if so where can I get one?
Thank you. Search aprons here dalstrong.com/?ref=4399498.837
Just ordered one apron. I love dalstrong knives! I have the gladiator series and have been trying to find a leather apron that I liked forever, Thanks!
@@floydcampbell1501 nice! You're gonna love it.
Where can I buy the pit?
There is a link to purchase in the description below the video.
Cooking time had to be more than 2 minutes?
Oh no, it was 2 minutes. That firepit was super hot.
@@SmokinJoesPitBBQ My word! OK, that must have been a 1/2 second fire! Steak looked amazing. Throw a few cherry tomatoes on the plate with that and call it dinner!
Those rare and medium rare steaks taste awful. Weird taste to them. Everyone likes cooked fat. The only way to get that is to cook the steak.. I bet anyone if they did a side by side comparison blind taste test almost everyone would pick well done and medium well over those weird tasting rare steaks.
So come at me people, but dont do it until you do the blind tatste test. Nobody really likes the taste of that half raw meat. Its just weird.
Joe will you accept the challenge ? Most people wont. Will you?
Cook a steak until the pink just disappears. It will be delicious, juicy and actually taste good. You can actually eat the fat when its cooked. Unlike the raw barely edible stuff you have been conditioned to say taste good. Blind taste test will show you it doesnt
BTW well done steak, (Not freakin burnt steak) is the juiciest of all the methods of cooking them. Those red steaks arent juicy because the fat is hard as a rock and inedible.
Cook your steak people and stop having people tell you whats good and decide for yourself
