Doug certainly left his mark with that last stand, Noble Six would have been proud. Also, I was surprised that there was a bonus audio log related to this once you get a 3000 commendation score. Doug really did go out like a hero.
I like to the ability to create my own story for our Agent. Like I started playing The Divison 2, my Agent is a Boston Cop and is from Boston. As for the Outbreak of the Dollar Flu, he was still working as a Cop before he was activated after his family died from the Flu. The situation in Boston was awful. He did his best to save lives but it was no use, the crime was explosing with the Flu as well. He was activated and lefted his home in Boston. And made his way to New York. Was a part of the second wave with Lau. Linked between both games, my character is the same character. From leaving New York to DC to Facing Keener. Edit: His brother is a Navy SEAL, but something is off about him. He's not a Rogue. He's a Hunter. Edit: he's in a romantically relationship with Kelso ;)
I actually liked this story alot. Shows us that not all agents acted as lone wolfs but banded together to face the common threats that stood in their way. I also like how the name reminds me of Noble Squad from Halo: Reach the difference being quite obvious along with how one survived while here they all died.

Doug Sutton was the Agent who died saving April Kelleher. A question that often enters my mind is who were the Agents trying to find April when she tossed Doug's ISAC brick out of the window? .....and Koopman's admonition about there being divisions within the Division. I am still dying to know who Mantis is!!!
Dude those videos are not cringy her story is amazing and I'm so glad that you covered it and I really appreciate all the work you've done for this game
When I first stumbled upon the side mission regarding the Noble Squad, I was both excited and expected to find them alive (given that the Missing Person side-quests often end with finding them in the end) but... after seeing what happened in the ECHOs... even if it is a side mission, the tragedy of the Noble Squad managed to tug my emotions to the point that I was holding back tears.
Man, I've been redoing Div 1 waiting for the next TU of Div 2 and something bothered me when I did the Noble Squad missions. I knew I remembered them but couldn't figure out they were the ones from the Phoenix Down event until you mentioned it! Many thanks for your vids, they're always engaging and we can feel you put a lot of work into them! The Division games are so full of lore when you actually take the time to look deeper, it is awesome! Thank you again, can't wait for the next one ;)
I remember this now. Walking around NYC looking to find out what happened. I liked the way that echoes worked in the original game where you had to reconstruct information and then could interact with multiple parts. I feel as though what they changed to in The Division 2 dumbed things down a bit, although I also remember being frustrated at first as I couldn't figure out that I had to move so that I could interact with the different parts. But, in the end, I liked that better. Also remember stupid people looking for cans of food walking into the middle of whatever you're doing. Including gunfights. So weird. Anyway, thanks for passing along the link. Great to be reminded of who Noble Squad is and that not every first wave agent went rogue.
@@hedgehog3528 yep here is a part from the wiki Following the end of the Covenant War, Jun was selected to lead the development of the SPARTAN-IV program, alongside Commander Musa-096. Technically retiring from active service and becoming a civilian, Jun served as the SPARTAN-IV program's head recruiter.[1] In January 2553, he met with ODST Lance Corporal Sarah Palmer aboard Lockhart medical station and recruited her into the first class of Spartan-IVs.[9] On February 15, 2553,[26] Jun traveled to the colony of Sundown in a shuttle to personally offer Edward Buck a place in the first class of Spartan-IVs. Much to Jun's surprise, Buck declined the offer, as he felt that he might have to abandon his team and his girlfriend, ONI Captain Veronica Dare. Buck became the first prospect to decline Jun's offer and the only one to do so within the first class of Spartans.[27]
This is why I love your videos, great detail as always. You should do more videos on Division 1 since Division 2 is currently well know. PS. I'm waiting for my New York collapse book before reading Broken Dawn.
An interesting piece to add is that doing the talon shield in div1 will give an audio log that let's you listen Doug's last final moments. Pretty interesting if you ask me.
Thing I love about the division is that the agents are good at what they do but they are not gods but they face this danger willingly(for the most part, yes looking at you Aron)
I didn't realize Doug died there. The echo just shows him fucked up. I always hoped he made it out and they would pick up that story. Guess I know now why they didn't.
Rest in peace noble. Ypur SHD tech may be deactivated, but it will not beforgotten your gear now is apart of new york, sown into the foundations of the city, we shall rebuild
Not sure when or how you'll see this but I have a question: Did you see the Echo in D1 about Keener and April meeting? She had Doug's shotgun although it was unloaded I remember it went like this: Rogue Agent (Keener): Nice backpack, where'd ya get it? (Referring to Doug's backpack April has on) April: A friend (Hold Doug's shotgun unloaded) Rogue: It looks familiar, where you going? April: Over the walls Rogue: Really? Be careful what you find in there, and be more careful what you bring out (Found it and wondered how Keener knew Noble squad other than them being just First Wave. Their Death could be another reason why he went rogue since it sounds like he was familiar with Doug to recognize his gear. Just wondering)
I love Noble Squad. I feel like Division 2 didn't do much of this kind of storytelling. Division 1 did it a lot more, like this, and April Kelleher, and several of the other side missions, like the one where the Vexix employee gets hit by the car.
Yknow what this video's intro made me think of? Older vets/ex-military should be offered chances to work with the DOD (or something along those lines) to cultivate a stay-back program similar to Gladios, gives vets a purpose after the military if they are up for it and a place for them to pass on their knowledge/confide in other vets
Some points ''So... the super 90 shotgun and the backpack that April carry with her (in books) is from Doug...'' ''My question if Relationship between agents is forbidden or not was aswer, I mean maybe Anne and Garcia are just good friend but was the first and unique time that I see something like that'' ''Even a calm and cold agent can become a monster if the situation ask for, make sense that cote: ''The city made-me, If this was why we have ISAC, The governant created Monsters to combat another Monsters, Demons who if were removed from their leash, can become problems or blessings'' ''Its was nice to see thats lot o rickers getting killed bruttaly, showing The SHD its not here for kidding, but in same time showing that your agents are imprevius and dangerous''
Agent Leon 'Deputy' Amaral Yeah April killed a couple of ppl with that Super 90. And two agents, including Kelso, were bitching about her having it. I think they were just good friends. When up you build comradeship or fraternity you tend to have close relationships like that. I mean the same happen with Agent Ward, Johnson, and Dunn in D2. Yeah in the book when Agent Ike saved April, April was like you didn’t have to kill them all. It was all Dravog fault. He freed them and **** over a lot of agents.
Do you think April will join the civilian militia and assist the Division? based on the book she was at the Castle settlement when it was attacked and guided several children to the white house Settlement where Agent Kelso heard her out and decided to treat her. She wasn't mentioned again in either the book or the game but having found out what she needed to know before attack the on the settlement and learning what was going on and even knowing about the black tusk, I don't see them letting her go and because of the kind of person she is I don't see April standing idly by. What do you think?
Nice video, I've been going back to TD1 for a while, because TD2 can't please me anymore and I've visited all the safe house of TD1 and everywhere there were other players to be found (PC version) and that one can not say about the safe house of TD2, these are usually empty on a few exceptions. we had a clan in TD2 but it has been cancelled for a long time and that says more than enough about TD2 because i have also been able to find most of those who have been part of that clan in TD1. The Dev's (TD2) urgently need to repack or the curtain will fall on TD2....
