Wow you showed my sets thank you so much for being kind on my sets. Yes will show the moon base once I it get done... Interview was amazing definitely have other people on who aren't known very much which then adds loads to the show 😁
So many people don't realize when they are at an event generally the organizers are already finalizing details for next year and are gonna spend the next 12 months getting it all in place so we can have such an amazing time. Thanks Cody and others for EVERYTHING you do for the event.
What's better than 2 old dudes talking about all things Lego adjacent? Three old dudes talking about all things Lego adjacent. Great guest there with Cody. Now maybe you can get one of the Lego Masters Utah moms on Bricking News too!
The now defunct North Georgia LEGO Train Club website had the track and set design software. Also lego loco had an early version of the same thing with a few sets and track
Good guest guys! Very informative. I can't seem to make the weekend commitment to a convention. I go a couple hours and walk around the closest one (~2 hours away) to me but it is tough for me to find the time. Maybe I just need to go all in like Cody and start my own locally! 😁
A great episode with Cody. A wonderful guest to have. I agree with Alex regarding comments, although it is great to hear a comment of yours read, I feel it is a way of joining your conversation with you and other viewers, response not always required 😊
oooh, this episode is for me as I remember that we had east and west Germany. Not Lego related, but rembered it when you talked about being pulled over in Denmark. First time I visited the US I thought it would be fun to see Fort Knox. Figured it might have a visitor center as both The White House and Pentagon does. So I followed the signs to Fort Knox (turned out to be a military base and not located at the same place as the famous Fort Knox). The guard at the gate had obviously had tourists before, he took my passport, let me drive through the gate to turn around, then gave my passport back, pointed in the directon of the famous Fort Knox and told me this was the closest I would ever get, shook his head and sent me on the way.
Blue Brick is the name of the train layout software. It’s older and works good for simple layouts. I was more excited to meet Alex than the LEGO masters when I went to my first Brickslopes. I’m woking on the display for this year, I still think that push buttons for Alex’s amusement park would make it perfect.
Metroliner, Black Seas Barracuda, Fort Legoredo, Vestas Windmill, Club Car, Breezeway Cafe, Guarded Inn, USS Constellation - these are some of the sets remade
RE: the modular city planning software, I believe it was Bricksie who made a vid about what he uses, and it was, no joke, Microsoft Excel. I've tried it for planning the 4x4 tile layouts for modular MILS bases and it actually gets the job done
I accidentally said “irregardless” at work today… which was unfortunate for 2 reasons: 1) I’m a middle school teacher, and I said it in front of a room full of students and 2) none of them seemed to noticed that I very loudly and very clearly used a word that is less than real, class just continued as usual, much to my own concern
This really is a cool episode having The King Of Swag on the show. Thanks! Makes it even more desirable to fly over to visit Utah and Brick Slopes. There are direct flights from Amsterdam. But ... the price! ... The three of us could spend a week in Billund (going tomorrow🥳, to be honest!!!) including Legoland tickets for the price of a one flight to Salt Lake City 😪.
1:24:54 I have never known anyone to be neutral about black licorice or mint chocolate. I like mint chocolate, while black licorice is the only candy I won't eat. The Dirt Cheap sponsor was hilarious!😂
In regards to the Rex controversy, it WAS exclusive when it launched. As long as they remove the exclusivity language from the venator description on their website when the microfighter launches, then its true. Lots of products are exclusive the first time they launch but become less so over time. It just feels different with Lego.
I saw that stream The snow angels mean Great job keeping it going fun and addicting the beer mini figures I didn’t now you founder of a hold conversation Thank you!!!
Did alex draw the short straw when you realized the number of mics didnt match the number of hosts? 😂 Cody seems like a legend and I would definitely hit up brick slopes... if I lived even remotely close to Utah lol
Thanks for the shout-out guys. We're working like crazy on the project. Got in an order of nearly 5k parts we needed for the canopy.

Nice episode. I would suggest that you feature a guest every once in a while, especially the smaller Lego RUclipsrs. I'm available.

That is a party box of Grippos, and yeah that is how they come. They do come in a regular chip bag as well.
I expected the regular bag since you sent one of that to Jabbo and he was eating it on his channel.
I'm going to get to go to Brickslopes this year! I'm so excited

the chip taste test sounded like the crinkling of a LEGO bag

Great video with your first ever guest 😊👍
The mystery solved - why deals hard to find in Utah.
I have a question for that Tony Stark guy. Where did the hair go?

I like this guy.
If u have the money, buy a box of each part on the P.A.B. wall. U may think u don't need em but as a moc builder I will say U WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM
Free Lego is free Lego - but the tiny plants???!!!! 😂😂😂

An odd number of guys, or a number of odd guys? 😂
Oh yeah sweettarts rule
Did alex draw the short straw when you realized the number of mics didnt match the number of hosts? 😂
Cody seems like a legend and I would definitely hit up brick slopes... if I lived even remotely close to Utah lol
That was a tough issue, but because I am so "loud" I got the middle between the mics.
@@alexnunesI would say it worked out!! After 30 seconds I couldn't even tell the difference. Also smart to put it on Cody's sleeve
56:59 Everything is bigger in US
I only like black licorice. The red is far too sweet.
