I've been taking care of my ill parents straight out of high school - 10 years ago. There's so much I want to do in terms of jobs, college, hobbies, etc. and It has held me back from so much... taking care of them as well as a lot of money issues. I use to be a very different person than the person I am now and I feel like a lot of my hope, drive, ambition is gone and Im just stuck.

I often get down and don't know what else to do or who else to talk to because i am a big people pleaser, so asking for help is not something that I do on a regular basis. I often get down and don't know what else to do or who else to talk to because i am a big people pleaser, so asking for help is not something that I do on a regular basis. Every time I start to feel this way I listen to then song on repeat and remember that I don't have to be perfect. I'm not the girl used to be. I'm not that happy cheerful little girl who can find the good in everything. I've changed. I've toughened up after getting bruised. I'm imperfect, bu I still try my best which is the best thing that I can. I am hard on myself and very broken, but can't find the courage to ask for help, and because of this I am often lonely, but it's all wrapped up together and that's what makes me, me. That's what gives me my character and I am very thankful for the things that I have been through to get me to this place and I am very happy with where I am in life because despite all the imperfections, I am still perfectly beautiful.
