Actually just got done watching a movie reaction to the original TMNT movie before this, & thought the rooms looked like 90's New York but with a modern-esc polish, maybe 'semi-polish'? Somethin' like that. Mexican is a GREAT choice too. It sure brings the 'mmmmmmm'. LOVE Mexican food.

I think you're the first Vegas RUclipsr to stay in one of these rooms. I really like the renovation - I just wish they did more with the bathrooms. I've never stayed at NYNY but now, I'd consider it. The fridge is such a perk.
Love love love NYNY casino. I really think it’s such an underrated hotel too. It’s the perfect size and layout for a first timer, so easy to get around. I hope it gets appreciated more that the rooms are updated!
My husband and I go to Vegas 10 to 15 times a year and our preferred hotel is NYNY. We love it there... have been going there for years. I'm so excited about their renovation. Which room would you usually get at NYNY? Never stayed there. Even with the reno, the regular Soho King rooms seem quite small...especially the bathroom. Just wondering if that's the type of room you get or something bigger.
I've been to New York New York in 2004 with fellow restaurant employees that I used to work with back in the day. If you're a first time visitor to Las Vegas it's definitely a hotel to check out. The themed restaurants and casino areas inside worked really well. My only downside is that I didn't get the chance to head to Coyote Ugly Saloon for Happy Hour. 4 days in Vegas isn't enough to see everything.
We just stayed in a Renovated room. I agree with your opinion. BTW my first pull on that slot machine won me 200 bucks. I totaled 5 spins and 350 bucks. Thank you for feeding the machine.
NYNY is my favourite property. We always come back to it. Great casino, great food options, great location, great pool. We go in 2 weeks and we’re booked into a renovated suite. Can’t wait!!!
I’m so excited they upgraded the rooms.. and I love the theme. I hope they will soon upgrade the other towers. This is my fave MGM property on the strip.
I really love NY NY, for many of the same reasons as you, and the remodel will be the icing. I love the food options and outdoor areas especially. I stay other places from time to time, like the Wynn to splurge, but usually MGM properties, and NY NY is my favorite!!

It’s certainly an improvement but I feel like they could have gone a lot further with the design vs the McDonald colors and skimpy furniture. I can’t believe they waited that long and didn’t refresh the bathrooms 😆
Stayed here in 2014 for 2 weeks. Loved the place. I had one complaint though, in the piano bar after taking $50 off me to guarantee a seat, me and my gf were sat at the back. Then then let 30 or 40 people in to stand in between our seats and the piano. So we couldn't see a thing.

My wife and I took your Vegas advice throughout our stay, from touring the Arts District, the English Hotel, food deals, happy hour locations, slot play etc. We had the best trip ever!!! 😀
NYNY has my favorite dining situation in Las Vegas, BY FAR. Last time I was in Vegas, I stayed at MGM but ate most of my meals at NYNY. I love Gonzales y Gonzalez and Il Fornaio, partly because they have seating that's right at the edge of the casino floor. I love watching the casino lights while I eat!
Spa suites are upgraded! I was lucky enough to get one this weekend. Have to say I wasn’t excited about about the design but it changed my mind seeing them in person 🤩

😍❤ The last time I stayed there was 2005 maybe 2006. In your last review the old chairs by the windows were the same ones from back then. I would definitely go back but not until I try a few more hotels that I haven't been to in LV yet. I remember the staff and service at that time were top notch. I gave it a review and 5🌠that time.
The room is upbeat and fresh. I prefer a shower but would not stop me from getting a room there. The food options looked real good. Thanks for showing it to us.😁

Just booked our first stay for here at the end of May! Always loved the casino and restaurants here, and we’re looking forward to our first time staying here in their newly renovated rooms!
So the proximity to the T Mobil arena is a minus for me. I was there for 4 days at a convention (another hotel, too expensive). Every night when I returned I had to wait 45-50 min to get into the parking garage. The day I got there (a Thursday) The police had blocked one of the entrances and I really struggled just to get parked. I love the casino too. The hotel does have a good vibe. Thanks for showing the changes. To me, it looked like a New York loft.
Was just there 2 night ago…first time at NYNY. Was upgraded at check in to what I now know to be a renovated room with the new motif. Though a smaller version of yours, very enjoyable room. Clean, Modern furniture and a great king bed. Just found your videos.. really enjoying them!

I was there on Monday to check out the Hershey store. Being a parent that yes brought her child to vegas, I did find NyNy to be a fun place. I did like the casino and the arcade was pretty cool for kids. I just did not like that they had elevator access right in the arcade. The parents that dont watch their kiddos, could get jump in or be taken. Just my stand point as a parent.
Been staying at NYNY when we come to Vegas for the last 13 years. It’s always fun and the best reasonably priced food on the strip! Greenberg’s deli, they have pastrami and corned beef roasts as well as brisket that they pull out of the roaster hot then slice it off and on to your sandwich!!! Absolutely Deelish!!
Room looks great comparedto the rooms before, I had stayed there years ago. Great food choices, happy hour deals, location, great show. I think I'll try NYNY again.
My Wife and I stayed at Tropicanna a few years back and found ourselves gambling at NY NY so our next stay we booked NY NY. The room they stuck us in was tiny and looked at another tower so had zero view. The room was so small it felt cramped the week we stayed. I am happy to see the renovations and will book the Premier King like you did. That is a nice room.
We really like NY NY. Love the vibe at the casino, and I love that I can go from my room to the strip in less than 5 minutes. No wandering a huge property, trying to find my way out. Plus you can mobile order with the Starbucks on the casino floor. Great strip location. Thanks for the review, excited to stay in a renovated room next year.
I'm really happy you went back to New York- New York. It's honestly my favorite hotel/casino on the strip. I love the theme and atmosphere. Your review was great, and the room decor really fits well. Nine Fine Irishmen pub is a lot of fun. I highly recommend it.
you need to try the food and drinks at america its been a vegas staple for me 22 years. IT's like one of the last original casino cafe left of all the mega resorts. The food is so good big portions good drinks the firecracker long island so good the bartenders are so friendly.
I really love the vibe of this hotel, stayed it in a few years back, the dated rooms were my only complaint, so id consider going back for sure. Now I hope they spruce up their pool a bit . . .
Just checked in night before in the remodeled very NICE room. After day one of a RESERVED 6 night reservation they made us MOVE . They had no more rooms and told us they were full so we have moved as of today to the old rooms. WAIT , I only wish I could send pics of the torn chair, old carpet, torn up wall paper walls, etc. Not happy but here. UGH . We came from MAUI and rarely come to Vegas so thought we should check it out as they had redone their rooms and Ruby suggested . Watch out for the switch a roo. I WAS IN BED sleeping when they had us MOVE AFTER checking in . I am for REAL and rarely comment. Love ya RUBY
I've stayed at NYNY 7 or 8 times, but not since 2015 because I felt the rooms needed a refresh. Now that the rooms have been renovated, I will definitely be back.
I absolutely adore NY NY... I mean... Obviously! LOL Been excited to see the remodeled rooms and you present them brilliantly! As usual. MGM needed to show the bathrooms some extra love though.
Thank you for the review, Ruby, glad they cleaned up the rooms. We love the fish place, the Mexican food you mentioned but the Mad Apple Show isn't one I would recommend. In the past they had a Saxaphone player that was awesome, not sure if he's still there or not. There are many more shows close by that are less money and better quality than the Mad Hatter I would recommend. Thank you for these recommendations.
I stayed at Park MGM. I ate breakfast at America every day. Very reasonable and had something different every day, veggie omelette, steak and eggs, eggs, toast and avocado.

Great place just came from there and it was my first time in Vegas. I’m sure that’s why RUclips recommended this video lol. Loved it so much I can’t see myself staying anywhere else on the strip now that I’ve walked it. Resorts world looks nice but kind of far.. Caesar’s does have my favorite theme… mayyybe MGM Grand but yeah NYNY definitely is my kind of vibe and perfectly placed.

The fridge was extremely tiny and froze all of our drinks. Just FYI

Stayed in the New Yorker tower in 17' Not a thing wrong with those rooms. I loved my stay and the room was awesome.

I could do without the yellow head board on the bed, but I like the flooring, and the non-Bellagio furniture. It all works much better.
I think they are meant to represent the yellow cabs in New York.

WAIT , I only wish I could send pics of the torn chair, old carpet, torn up wall paper walls, etc. Not happy but here. UGH . We came from MAUI and rarely come to Vegas so thought we should check it out as they had redone their rooms and Ruby suggested . Watch out for the switch a roo. I WAS IN BED sleeping when they had us MOVE AFTER checking in . I am for REAL and rarely comment. Love ya RUBY

I've stayed at NYNY 7 or 8 times, but not since 2015 because I felt the rooms needed a refresh. Now that the rooms have been renovated, I will definitely be back.
This hotel looks alright last time I went I stayed at Bailey’s back in 2016 I’m due to go back. For 2 weeks in New York New York isn’t that bad.

I absolutely adore NY NY... I mean... Obviously! LOL Been excited to see the remodeled rooms and you present them brilliantly! As usual. MGM needed to show the bathrooms some extra love though.
Thank you for the review, Ruby, glad they cleaned up the rooms. We love the fish place, the Mexican food you mentioned but the Mad Apple Show isn't one I would recommend. In the past they had a Saxaphone player that was awesome, not sure if he's still there or not. There are many more shows close by that are less money and better quality than the Mad Hatter I would recommend. Thank you for these recommendations.

I stayed at Park MGM. I ate breakfast at America every day. Very reasonable and had something different every day, veggie omelette, steak and eggs, eggs, toast and avocado.

Great place just came from there and it was my first time in Vegas. I’m sure that’s why RUclips recommended this video lol. Loved it so much I can’t see myself staying anywhere else on the strip now that I’ve walked it. Resorts world looks nice but kind of far.. Caesar’s does have my favorite theme… mayyybe MGM Grand but yeah NYNY definitely is my kind of vibe and perfectly placed.
The room is tight by the end of the bed but it opens up to the hardwood floor area. It's like having a second room.
