my dad got one pretty much for his birthday and he’s happy about it and loves the gun, we’re excited to shoot it later today. how good of a carry gun would this really be?
Tough to say since I don't know you. There are plenty of people who use them as their EDC, but others want something with more capacity. There are also a lot of cowboys and folks who work outside who like to carry them with .410 because of the snakes. That's probably where they shine best as a carry piece.
For the time being, we do not. The shape of our firing pins is great for centerfire cartridges, but really hit-or-miss on rimfire ammo. Because we couldn't guarantee the quality of the 22, we had to pull it. That said, we do look forward to making a 22 in the future, but it will be on a different frame.

Ugh, I want one of these so badly with the 4.25" .410/45LC Barrel and a 3" .357Mag barrel to swap between. 😫
What's stopping you?
Can the barrel release lever be flipped to the other side of the gun for lefthanded use? I know that there is an alley screw holding it in place.
