Happy Friendship Day, Sweet Girl! I celebrate you and everything you've achieved with your amazing channel. You and Tom have brought us all together and I have so enjoyed watching you grow! This pod idea is wonderful, Annie. My late hubby and I put one together back in the early 90's. We said we'd dig it up and open it in 2025 in honour of our 40th wedding anniversary. We'd buried it in our garden and when he passed, I had a friend dig it up for me. It's now in my friend James's garden. I plan to open it next year on what would have been our 40th anniversary (March 20th). Until then, it is safe. I'm very grateful to my friend for retrieving and keeping guard over it. I recall it was quite a decent size and a proper sealed up one that Don had purchased at an Army/Navy store. I cannot recall much of what we put in inside - wedding, family and pet photos come to mind. And I remember that we each wrote a letter to the other. I hadn't given any thought to doing one just about myself. Thanks to you and to Snoppy for coming up with such a lovely idea! I even have an excellent container that I can use. What fun! I'm so sorry that you won't be able to open it together, but it will be wonderful to open it on 20th March and remember your happy lives together, though I'm sure there will be many tears as well. Haven't been able to concentrate on any crafts so looking forward to getting back to normality. Hope you and your hubby and family are well. Take care ❤️
