This performance is akin to thought manifestation. It's fucking incredible that this even happened. A true universal alignment of energy, music, and vibe. It will forever emanate healing in it's wake. To Ben Sharp and the members of Intronaut: Please weave your magic and continue this massive legacy. Your collaboration is a soulful panacea and a high water mark for both music and mankind
I can't believe this only have 36 views, and no one has commented on it yet. Seriously, thank you for you putting this together. Those like me who don't live in the US but still would love to see Cloudkicker perform have been able to thanks to you. I really, really appreciate it.
Ten years ago... wow. This show almost seems like a fever dream at this point. I posit that 2014 was the peak of this scene.... You had Joy of Motion, Language, and some huge releases like Altered State, Parallax II, Pelagial, and Far-stepper/Of Wide Sea were in their heyday still. It was the year that Djent and Prog Metal were instilled in me, as I think it was my first true prog show.
I agree. I can't think of any combination of awesome creatives and (especially) attitudes that came together to make the seemingly impossible happen in a more impressive way. And I haven't even discussed the execution of it all yet. To me, this is the epitome of all the contributors being their best selves. Kudos to all the musicians involved (and Century Media, of course).
That is the 2nd half of You Could Laugh Forever but Never End up Happy from Subsume. On the original version of that song this section starts about 4 minutes in.
+Jeff Evans You really captured the thing. So much of this guy's music is about atmosphere, and they look like they're having such a blast on the stage I'm glad the footage is good enough to see the vibe on stage.
Welp, you could have always been the fan/hobbyist videographer that offered to do it for free, drove 12 hours to the show, and you could have brought more pro gear including mics, before driving home and editing the entire show - and done a much better job. But you didn't. So it is what it is. But congratulations on being the first person to be negative about this video. It only took 9 years!
@sazeracJeff truer words never spoken. show looks amazing, the fact there's a video, even fuckin better. cheers to all involved, been enjoying for 5 years now.

To be able to pull off the drum parts with all those funky time signatures as well as he did.....simply amazing.
And he's having a blast doing it too.
Probably not the hardest thing to do when you’d jammed to their music a bunch of times haha
@@7275vrt LOL no. Push It Way Up! has 13/16 and 15/16 bars back to back

Saw these guys in Seattle in 2014...what a joy to see them together on another stage with excellent videographers and sound engineers. Pure bliss
