Hello mate. Do you know how to pair this item with something like a JBL Wave 100 Ear bud? The Earbud connects to a phone easily but to something like a Bluetooth speaker with a headphone output doesn't have a screen to identify pairing. I hope that's clear explanation.
How to solve the audio cut out (Auto mute) when the db in the played audio is low, like the background sound effects of a wind, crickets, footsteps etc.? I raised the volume of my TV to 100% but didn't solve the problem in most scenes.
I purchased this so I can use it in my Jeep’s aux port to pair my iPhone XR to play music and receive calls through the car speakers. It pairs easily and plays music and audio from apps and videos, but not audio from calls. Any idea how I can fix this issue? Thanks!
That would likely be an iPhone parameter. I think it’s because the mic is not carried over the transmission with the audio output. I haven’t tried with a phone call. If you find a solution, let me know.
I'm looking at monitoring sound with this. Using a headphone splitter on the Zoom H6 so the sound recordist can hear with her wired headphones and then I can plug this in and I can hear over bluetooth.I will have my headphones plugged into one of these in receiver mode, while the one from the Zoom H6 will be in transmitter mode. Can the 2 connect together like this?
@@byjakeburgess , The answer to your question is yes. I tried it today and have made a video that I will upload tomorrow showing how. Thanks again for the question. I'll update you on the link once it's up.
Paired headphones with transmitter but when I plug the transmitter into tv or sound bar it won't transmit through the headphones, sound continues to come out of the sound bar/tv....any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

Hi, I want to live stream using my android phone. Am I able to connect a mixer with my lavalier microphone and transmit the signal to my cellphone so that while streaming I am able to use the lavalier microphone instead of the onboard microphone of the camera?
Wow, that’s something I’ve never tried. With an android it’s more likely to be possible than an iPhone. That being said, I would first try plugging your lav into the phone directly. But if you decide to use a mixer, then try plugging it in directly. If you want minimal lag during your steam, I would always advise a directly connection if possible. I m interested to see what you come up with if you decide to use a transmitter and how effective it is. I have another video on my channel using the Taotronics with some variations in setup that may help. Please check it out.
Thanks for the video! I'm facing two issues: 1/ There's a faint interception voice that becomes very prominent in the split second when I pause a video, it disappears when the audio is off, but I can hear this voice along the audio but very faint. 2/ TaoTronics has to be re-paired everytime I turn off my bose Q35. Have you been noticing these two issues?
Colonel E , thanks for the questions. I haven’t had any voices during pause or with the audio. Not sure. Depending on the device you’re pairing and if is close to another device it’s been paired with before. If the Taotronics and your Bose are the only things in the room and been pair before, they pair automatically. On occasion I have had to repair as well, but it’s a very quick process.
@@TownleyVM I just got a reply from them recommending that I don't use the device while charging as, and I quote, " the adapter ripple interference is louder than the mute function of this product and there will always be white noise which won't be muted automatically" Have you noticed that when using the device while charging?
That's a great question. I tried with my fake airpods but was not able to. To pair any device you would first make sure the Taotronics is set to Transmit or Recieve, whichever you are needing. Then press and hold the power button on the Taotronics til it flashes blue and red, this is pairing mode. Then use the device you are pairing it with to find the Taotronics. Make sure there are no other devices with bluetooth enabled that may interfere with the pairing. I hope this was some help.
From what I’ve seen and tried so far you can only have one device connected via Bluetooth at one time. If you figure out how to do more than one, I would love to know.
Hi Ned. I also made a pairing video that may help. It shows how to pair different combinations of devices and may help. Although I have never tried AirPods and would love to hear if it works for you. ruclips.net/video/4I_UuPL85UQ/видео.html
Hi Vikas, I have used my camera with a shotgun mic and haven’t had any issues. Couple things I can think of to be the solution would to ensure that if your mic takes batteries that they are fresh, the plugs for mic and the Taotronics are plugged into the correct places, and lastly the Taotronics is set to transmit (TX). If your mic doesn’t have a power source, it may not work. Maybe look into the specs of your mic for phantom power etc. Hope this is helpful. Let me know how it goes.
@@TownleyVM Thanks a lot for the reply. My mic doesn't have a power source and maybe that's the reason it's not working. I was using this mic with my SLR camera.

It’s all about the flashing light and making sure you’re not connected to any other devices. Sorry for late reply.

Does it still work after 3 years?, mine seems to have battery problems and it doesn't look like the battery is replacable.
It is replacable. It‘s a 80 mah li-ion battery which you need to desolder and solder on 2 wires (positive and negative)
Haven’t used it recently.
