So how are you able to do wheelies for that long or is it just the paddle tires in sand, do you have a slipper clutch eliminator or have you just tightened it ( edit i have a slash 2wd with the traxxas brushless conversion and 2s it will only wheelie with street tires on grippy surface)
@@Drew_Loftis24 they’re only good on a track….I shouldn’t have been running them at all….they’re not good for bashing……not much traction on mud, grass or in sand
Honestly you can’t go wrong with any of them….but if you want the power I’d go with a Brushless model from the get go….also if you’re gonna be in tall grass or super rough terrain a lot I’d go for a 4wd model
Cool video but hey next time u go to the beach with you’re slash buy a small handle flat head shovel so u can dig out some kickers and jumps from sand it is so fun I’ve done it
You’ve misunderstood the premise of the project….this started out as the “Cheapest” Rtr Slash you can buy….at this point it has been modified to have everything the vxl model has and more
Another great sand vid that thing rips especially with those paddle tires. thanks for the vid
Stay safe
Oh yeah they rip! Glad you liked it! Stay safe bro 😎
Now you're making me Green With Envy because I miss that gorgeous Park so much!
Sorry…..I love coming to the dunes lol
Gotta love the dunes. I live in Oregon so I get to have all the fun…for 3 months out of the year that is lol..
Yeah! I love the sand! It’s so much fun!
Ur dunes are so smooth!!
All the dunes here are driven with cars so there is soooo many ruts
Yeah that’s unfortunate….there are some rough spots from people walking up and down the dunes
I need to get some paddles man . Great video 👍
Thanks! Paddles are a ton of fun!
I didn't start breaking anything till I started going to the beach! Paddles puts alot of strain on parts
Yeah paddles grip pretty good…..landing in the sand usually isn’t as bad as most surfaces though
It's always windy here in michigan
@@The_everything_channle yeah the wind is especially noticeable at the dunes too
@@RCKnockout yeah
Spicy lil thing 👍
Oh yeah!
I been watching you from 1k
Appreciate the support man!
I have the nitro slash what kind of tires are those on the rear ?
These are the Proline Slingshot Paddle Tires
thanks for sharing, worth getting all paddles (4 ) tires even though it's 2WD?
Glad you liked it! No you wouldn’t want the paddle tires on the front

This is probably running 3s if not 4s in the video…paddle tires do make a big difference for traction though
What tires are you running on the front?
Proline Blockade
@@RCKnockout thanks I might get them to run on my slash do they grip better than stock tires

@@RCKnockout thank you
@@Drew_Loftis24 you’re welcome
Where can I get those tires and is it easy to clean and maintenance after the sand ?
I think I bought them on Ebay……yeah it’s not to bad to clean after ripping in the sand
What's up buddy looks like fun
Oh yeah! It’s a ton of fun!
I’m thinking of getting a slash any recommendations on which model?

@@RCKnockout thanks for the feedback man, glad to finally see a big creator respond🫶
@@522_rc no problem man 👍😉
I definitely don’t consider myself a big creator though lol
@@RCKnockout Nah man you’re doing great, keep up the content!🤙🏻
@@522_rc I’ll try my best….I appreciate the kind words

Thanks for the tip man! 👍😉
QUESTION: Whats more fun in the sand 2wd or 4wd?
They’re both a lot of fun in the sand! I’d give the edge to the 2wd though
What motor does it have?
3200kv (1412) Castle Brushless motor
The Wltoys 124016 with paddle tires would be a great car for content in this. It's so cheap for the fun on dunes like this.
(V2) of course
Does it have any replacement and upgrade parts available?
What motor are you running in that bro. Nice video
Thanks! 3500kv Velineon
May I ask, what do you do for work?
Pilot Car Driver
@@RCKnockout what does that do?
@@QuackersIsCwazy Pilot Oversized Semi Trucks to Destinations
@@RCKnockout ohh
3s?
Yes
2wd tuff
Oh yeah!
8:06 would call that a spine like that the skatepark.
Is that what it’s called?
michigan dunes are the best places to do rcing, I do mine at petoskey state park
Yeah the Michigan Dunes are a ton of fun!
What speeds are you getting and what configuration is the car at that moment?
I can’t remember….I’ve done a speed test in the past….this is the 60mph+ high speed gearing
I think 4s lipo battery in this car
That might be a little much…..hard to keep it from doing a wheelie on 3S
Are you running a lock dif?
No I’ve got the Drag Slash Transmission in this
How is this "the cheapest Traxxas Slash project"? It is a VXL and I can see some upgrades.
You’ve misunderstood the premise of the project….this started out as the “Cheapest” Rtr Slash you can buy….at this point it has been modified to have everything the vxl model has and more
i thought he was fuckin it up driving with the shit stuck into it but then when he stepped on the car and yanked it out was waaaaay worse
