You should have expanded this by showing how to use the phone as a remote control device for taking images on the camera, I use that a lot for high magnification long exposure shots on my K-70, it's great. Battery life on both camera and phone can be an issue if out for a long days hike shooting fungi, I have to turn off wifi when not using it. Thanks for your videos Lee, it was you that convinced me to get the K-70, I Like it's features and rugged weather sealed qualities. I'm currently using a cheap SMC 50mm F1.4 I found on ebay with reversal rings and extension tubes for shooting fungi, flowers, lichen, moss, bugs etc etc.. Love it!
Samantha Layle Designs on my iphone there is a button at the bottom of the screen that allows shooting with the app when it is connected to the camera, not sure if the android version has it, should do though.
📷 Thank you for sharing, this was so easy to follow and not like the laborious search for instructions in the online manual! My K70 has been in hibernation for too long so I have forgotten even the simplest of functions. 🤔🌝 My Galaxy S21 is brilliant for editing on the go (or any time actually), so now I have the best of both worlds!
Thank you for explaining I was super confused with the k-70 this is my first DSLR and my MacBook doesn't have a sd card slot so until that comes in I need to use this way
Not sure why you would do this when you could just use the SD card or usb cable. But a lot of laptops have tablet features where you could download the app and transfer
I do not understand Pentax. What is the point? No professional photographer uses his phone to edit his/her photos. I wanted to connect the camera to my 13" laptop .... Anyways, thanks for the video.
Thanks for sharing. Was having a nightmare trying to get the pictures of my K70 using the WiFi mode. Great help and now know what to do.
You're welcome!

Glad I could help!
Because not everybody you send the pictures to is a professional.

I love Photography!!
You are welcome. Happy shooting!
Thanks! that helps
You can do everything right and it still doesn't work, only works occasionally, rubbish app...
Is there a way to transfer pictures to a PC? The camera acts as a WiFi host. Is there a PC app that lets you grab photos from the Pentax?
