A perfect system to shoot for. all three pieces are bottom line in a very sexy line of products. Better to have the entry level Klipsch than a high end speaker in a not so sexy line of speakers....A primaluna tube amp beats a solid state amp.....but i must say anything running these speakers will dazzle....tubes just give the music more clarity....you'll find yourself identifying instrumenets or notes you never heard before in a song.
Rocking the Heresy IVs with just a Yamaha amp and it still sounds amazing to me, I wonder what these would do to it, just out of my price range at the moment. Maybe later on. Nice video!
@Dan Car i mean it just all depends on the ears! I have an Audiolab 6000A right now that replaced my Yamaha and loving it! Not planning on upgrading for a long time now, maybe when I have extra spare money 😂
Trying to decide between Heresy speakers and the RP-6000F speakers for music listening. Are the Heresies worth the extra money? I have a 10wpc tube amp.
Works very well in the digital age using the Bluesound Node 2 as my streamer/DAC. Just use my iPhone and Tidal and its a dream... I don't listen to stuff very loud. If you want a sub out, you may need a higher version of the Prima Luna. Everything I read says the Klipsch heritage speakers pair very nice with tubes...
Please make more videos! Please try old love by Eric Clapton live acoustic 2013 remaster version if you are using tidal it’s on there! I have the Cornwall IV and it sounds insane ! I was always curious to hear how these would hold up I love the set up you have man ! I don’t know if you will get around to reading this but if you do man you got nothing to do and you just want to record one more video I would love to hear that track and you will see how beautiful that one is. :) if you could get around to it man that would be so awesome I love that song means a lot to me that song.
No sub used. My Prima Luna does not have a sub out. Room is 18 by 14. I only use these for music. Room has other speakers for movies as well as another Receiver.
Jamie Jolles You can just hook up the Primaluna to the active sub and drive the speakers from the sub (high out). A lot of subwoofers allow this...which is actually the best method since the sub borrows the sound of the amp thus it blends better with the speakers.
I believe the Yamaha AS-501 amp with these speakers would sound as good, or better. This tube amp sounds more like a SS amp. This is what a tube amp should sound like------ ruclips.net/video/k6sAG8UP07g/видео.html
I have the Heresy IV s as well. This sounds really nice. I love mine
Brutal setup, great!
Proof that you can do more with less. Good job!!
I am considering this exact setup. I already have the Bluesound Node 2i and really like it. Please do more videos of this setup, maybe jazz next.

Add a Topping D90 DAC and just use Node2i for streamer and your music will go over the Top.

How would these compare to the wharfedale linton heritage?
Great sound, what wood color for the speakers did you get?
Walnut

Have not heard the RP-6000Fs. If you will second guess your purchase on the cheaper pair, spend the extra money and only cry once.
How do you like this setup? I have Heresy IVs with a Naim NAP 100. I’ve been considering the EVO 100 for some time now.

Will try to make one of that tonight and upload.
@@jamiejolles3895 that would be amazing! :)
I think this song is used in almost every audio demo on here and it is not so great for a demo.
Klipsch heresy iv or klipsch rp 800f for loud music
What level of volume for this demo? Sounds real good.
Around 20%
@@jamiejolles3895 at around 8h position?
Sounds great. What size is your room, and do you use a sub? Looking to grab a pair, but I want to make sure they provide enough bass. Thanks!

Looks and sounds amazing Jamie, hope you don’t mind me asking is that recorded on a phone microphone or a separate microphone?
Just used my iphone
What colour are theses American walnut or distressed white oak? :)
Walnut. Not sure what is wrong with the video. Sometimes it shows up way too bright. Look at my more recent video.
Do I hear a hump somewhere around the 100-200hz octave?
are you kidding?
@@jerrypowers7671 No.
You must have some sort of bionic ears.
I only hear speakers.

You had me until the old-timey popcorn maker
Gift from my mom.... Cant get rid of it. I do prefer to make my popcorn on the stove... :)
