Izzy said the difference between him and Sean was that Izzy overcame his "traumas", yet Sean didn't become the middleweight champion of the world without overcoming his trauma.. meanwhile Izzy's probably still crying to his therapist somewhere about his dead dog he molested.

His dad threatened to kill his mother in front of him many nights and he would lie on the floor holding onto his mom's leg while his parents fought as an attempt of making sure he didn't kill her. This made him lose sleep and he started sleeping on his school desk in class and his teachers would take his desk away from him, forcing him to stand awake through the class. That's what he was telling Theo on the podcast when he started crying

You can never speak about someone elses trauma because you can't put your foot in their shooes and you never will be able to soo......... some shit just donesnt go away no matter how much you work on yourself. It might have worked for izzy but that doesnt mean it will work for Sean because they didn't go through the same shit. Its like saying a dog is a cat, they are completely different and therefor the outcome of their traumas are also different because they went through different shit. Some stuff changes you forever and then ylu have to deal with it because of selfish, abusive, evil people and even worse if that person is one of your parents thats a real mind fuck for a kid.

Childhood trauma happens when you REALLY fear for you life or the life of someone close to you, your caregivers or immediate family. Your father saying he's going to end your mother life in a murderous way is traumatic (Sean case). Izzy has no idea of what he's talking about like 99% of the time, he thinks that having schoolmates mocking him 3 times in total at school is the same. "i've overcomed traumatic shit myselfffff". Great fighter, not so bright or charismatic as he thinks.
